I assume he will play SS for right now.

I wonder if this means Lonnie is getting moved?

Not sure.  It's an interesting addition considering the presence of Lindor, Aviles, Ramirez and the problems in the rotation.  The next hour could be interesting.

The Tribe has gained two trading chips or substitutes for players that can become trading chips.  I'd be really disappointed if there was not another move.

Re: Acab traded

great power, terrible but improving plate discipline. playing 2b at AAA, .300/.358/.608.

sickels on walters

13) Zach Walters, INF, Grade C+: Versatile infielder on defense. Stereotype of a utility infielder is a contact hitter who lacks power but Walters is more of a Mirror Universe utility-man, featuring impressive power but lots of strikeouts and a low OBP/batting average.

Yeah, I kind of think so, too.

I guess more surprised than disappointed. But then I will be disappointed that I am going to spend the next 45 minutes thinking about what they might be doing.

I think I'll have a nap.

The heck? Walters is a middling prospect on his own, let alone for this organization.

That's about what Cabrera is worth at this point.

Re: Acab traded

WOW this could mean a couple of thing many options here they could dump Murphey to someone and move Chiz to RF or trade Chisenhall for a young control starter Houston not a option here they have a 3rd baseman or could this signal a Lindor / Salazar / Frazier + for David Price Lindor is our only A/A+ prospect which has to be a key to any Price deal even though I do not like the thought of 1 and a couple months of Price Who knows.

Sounds like a Dan Uggla clone.  Ugh.  I can tell you that no one speculated Walters as a trading chip here in DC.

Re: Acab traded

Good Dan Uggla would be an amazing return for 1/2 season of Cabrera.

Re: Acab traded

They got better value for the Caucasian Jamaican.

I have nothing against tools goofs, but those who need 900 ABs to master a level (that they aren't young for) often become 6-yr FAs.
