Probably as excited as a kid in a candy store for the game this year just because the Indians will actually be fun to use. I can see alot of online people using them just for the speed and power

MVP 05 is the best baseball game of all time. 

All-Star Basbeball 2001 is my second favorite.

Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball for SNES.

I dunno man, the ways you could mod MVP 05 made it worth a lot. 

There was a very well done mod that recreated the entire 1994 season.

I'll never buy a 2K game again. The Show completely destroys it in every facet of the game.

The Show is unfortunately not on XBox.

I used to play the Show but made the switch to 2K and dont think i could switch back, the Show's graphics just dont seem realistic to me

Really? I've been playing this game for 8 years and don't know what this is.


Just another example of how ridiculously ahead of its time MVP was. But that's not even what gets me about MVP. Just the basebally feel of the game is overwhelming. Whether it's the soundtrack, announcing, or whatever, it's hands down my favorite game of all-time. I really wish they'd get their rights back.

MVP could have put one out for Xbox this year but MLB begged 2K to renew their contract

Total Conversion Mods 

The Mechanics and fluidity of MVP 05 is unrivaled in modern baseball games. Especially for the PC there is no match.

Funny, I came across my old copy of MVP 05 the other day and looked up the old MVPMods site.  Man, wish I had time to reinstall and up those mods to see what it looks like.  Awesome that those folks and the game are still around.

Yeah I moved on to The Show after the 2010 season. 

A lot of really good mods for that game. Amazing that they are still updating it.

Yeah the more i read how bad 2K is supposed to be this year i think i may switch back to the show and dust off the PS3
