nice to see Milwaukee trying to make this a close game and giving Braun, Hart, and Lucroy the day off.

I thought Soriano was going to get consistent days off this year to keep him in optimal shape. Both Sori and Byrd without a day off through 6 games.

You're noticing that Sori is about the only offense they have these days right? There's planet of time to give a guy days off, it doesn't need to be done in the first week of the season.

Soriano is batting .353 with 6 RBI's meaning he is one of his hot streaks. They are rarer and rarer at this point in his career so Svenum needs to ride it as long as it goes before sitting him.

That said, all his hits have been singles, and 5 players on the team have a higher OPS this year. That said, I agree with you completely that there is no reason not to play him right now...nobody is exactly forcing him out of his position with their play thus far.

Was anyone else surprised when Sori easily made those two catches right at the wall yesterday. They were moon shots and all he needed to do was camp under them and that's what he did. But it was impressive because he's been wall-shy, particular brick wall.

Yeah, DeJesus has suffered some of that wall shyness too. If you don't, you won't be playing for long here. Wrigleys walls are not made for highlited reel plays. Just make the plays you should and I'll be fine with you a s a outfielder here.

Pretty sure the Cubs will win the category of lowest run support for starting pitchers at the end of the year. Maybe 3 or 4 out of the top 5.

On the bright side, Wood seems to have found his command.
Struck out the side.
