Yadier Molina is being activated just in time for this series.  Figures, eh?

I honestly would rather see them being extra careful. Backs are really tricking things.

32-year-old catcher. He's got to decline eventually. This weekend is as good a time to start as any.

Okay, I hope he's ready by Saturday.

Re: Cubs vs Cardinals

Can I ask what the point of this stupid thread is?  Every series, the moron has to start the same thread about the next series to remain relevant.  Guess what?  No one cares.  Thanks for the pitching matchup information.  So helpful.  ohlord

I remember a time when this board featured actual "game threads" for each game played.  What happened to those?  There was one poster (can't remember who), who actually posted the game thread everyday.  Those days are long gone.  Now this place is infected with a malcontent, pointless thread starting, jagoff.

Re: Cubs vs Cardinals

I don't know if anyone else would start a game thread every day, maybe now that prospects are making people want to follow games.  I find the pitching matchups helpful.  At first I didn't like all games of a series in one thread but I'm used to it now.  StatRat was the one who started a game thread each day which was great.

What I'm not a fan of is that he sometimes starts threads for upcoming series before the current one is even finished.  Call me superstitious but on more than a few occasions the Cubs ended up losing the rubber game that day.  And the next time that he comments on the actual game will be the first.

I know it is bad form, but are there actually any good cubs forums out there?  This one is pretty much dead.

Try Bleacher Nation, Northside Baseball or if you're looking for quantity over quality, Cubs.com.

StatRat.  Thanks, right.  Fitting name.  Thanks, Katie!

Are you running out of things to complain about? It is almost September and now you complain about no game threads.

This format has worked well with no complaints all season.

Yeah I'm not sure why anyone is unhappy about having a game thread or it being posted early. Seriously? No one else would post a thread in time anyways.

Look in the mirror.  You have no life and no point other than to spend your entire existence on a message board.  The best part is, it's a message board where everyone despises your presence.

Again, do everyone a favor and leave for good. Seriously.  Do something else.  Debating and talking about baseball is not your forte.  You suck at it.  You're not original.  You plagiarize everything and talk out of both sides of your mouth. Let the real fans of this team enjoy the success that is building.  You're not a fan.  You're an old, tired hack.  Go read some more 3 year old blogs and regurgitate the shitty information somewhere else.

Yes, I've hijacked your pointless thread.  It would a good thing if there was actual delineation of game/general information.  You know, actual organization?  Not with you here.  You vomit pointless thread after pointless thread and make a complete disaster of this message board.  Why?  Because you're sad.

Are people not here posting about the game, or each games of a series?  It was just so much better before, when people actually had the same goal for coming here.  Talking Cubs baseball, with like minded fans.  No everything turns in a train wreck, because of said poster.  There's nothing he doesn't poison with his presence.

Nothing preventing you from starting a game day thread so you can talk baseball

Maybe there shouldn't be one considering it always gets derailed thanks to a certain poster. Or just have the publisher do it which I am shocked he doesn't or perhaps a moderator.
