If the Brewers didn't get to play the Cubs, last place would be theirs easily.

After his first day off in ages, Castro gets a hit in his first AB.  As usual the Cubs choke away a bases loaded situation.

Wow, nice drive Barney.  Splits the gap and the Cubs are on the board 1-0.

Valbuena keeps on producing in that leadoff spot.

+1.  He's one of their more selective hitters.

Aramis with hit #2000 in his career, a solo HR.  Nice job Aramis.

Castro with another hit after getting ahead in the count.  The Cubs are getting lots of baserunners and if they don't start taking advantage they're going to lose this game because Brewers.

Nice job Riz.

Why has Castro been throwing sidearm lately? Is he hurt?

That cannot be part of the instruction the staff has given him right?

Please don't tell me that the departed Carlos Marmol is now possessing the body of Greggles.

I think that whatever "IT" is passed from Mitch Williams to Marmol, and is now floating around Wrigleyville waiting for someone else to possess/ruin.  Maybe Ryan Braun would be a good host--he doesn't seem to have a problem with mysterious substances in his body!

I thought that was gone.  Jeebus.  Gregg is now 12 for 12 in save chances.

Cubs win, that was a shaky outing though.  Let's not wait too long to deal Greggles.

+1.  He's had quite the run and we need to sell high on him before he catches Cubscloseroria disease.
