Hopefully some of the childish bickering will stop once spring starts and there's something more worthwhile to talk about.

I used to be a moderator during the 05/06 seasons, I believe.  The title is just for show I suppose, as I no longer have any mod powers.

I'd like to see this community pick back up in activity again.  I've always preferred these boards to PSD and NSBB.  Many of the posters here are extremely knowledgeable about all levels of Cubs baseball without coming off as arrogant and will converse with each other with respect.  You'll see a lot more intelligent, in-depth discussion than off topic tangents and silly arguments.  No knock on those other forums, just my observations.

There must be a lot of lurkers, because threads will get hundreds of views but only a handful of posts.  I'm going to try and post more and hopefully others will start joining as we get closer to Spring Training.

As for mod suggestions, I feel like KatieCubFan and mindbodyspirit have added the most amount of quality posts to the site over the years.

I'll second the vote for Katie.  She's probably the sanest one here...and that's tough, being a Cubs fan and all. 

LOL, thanks guys.  It's nice to be appreciated.  Same for you.  I actually was a moderator some years ago (don't remember what year) but I kind of drifted from this board for a while and the mod powers were taken off which was okay with me really.  BTW Anomalied, I agree about NSBB.  The posters over there are really cliquish and it seems to be conversations among a few like-minded people.  But it's great for news (they're on top of every rumor about trades and such) and PSD is pretty much the same.
