Re: Camp back
As an aside, I would say this is a decent deal for us based on last year's performance. I would prefer for minor league prospects to step up, cut their teeth as bullpen guys and then maybe progress into either higher leverage bullpen roles or even starter roles like they did with the Rangers.
That said, it didn't look like we had too many (any?) guys do that last year, so rather than call up guys that aren't ready only to let them wet the bed, Camp does provide a stable option for more 'important' innings, letting a prospect or two break in in the 6th inning here or there until confidence is high enough to use them elsewhere.

Vizcaino could be a guy that contributes this season and Chapman and Bowden didn't embarrass themselves last season. It would be nice to have a swing guy that could spot start and pitch in long relief and eventually take a spot in the rotation. Not too sure if anyone in the system is ready for that role.
Pen as of today
Marmol Vizcaino Russell Camp Bowden Chapman

Marmol Vizcaino Russell Camp Bowden Chapman You could add to the competition for bullpen spots - Beliveau Brigham Cabrera Coleman Dolis Gutierrez Putnam I think they plan on having Vizcaino start in AAA as a starter A few of these options could be cut tomorrow as the team needs to submit their 40 man roster and they stand at 39 now.

A few of these options could be cut tomorrow as the team needs to submit their 40 man roster and they stand at 39 now. If last year was a trend, they will drop a couple people off the 40-man roster in the attempts to acquire others (Rule 5 and/or waivers). Jury is out if that worked out well last year, acquiring Castillo but losing Flaherty and Marwin Gonzalez.

Off the top of my head you would need to add players like McNutt, Watkins, Villanueva & Struck and maybe a few more.
