Well if Mussina stayed around, the Yankees probably wouldn't have signed Pettite and obviously Pettite helped the team win in the playoffs. Who knows what would have happened if Mussina was on the team.

Hairston is a good guy. Hard to believe he ended up on the Yanks and actually did OK in spot duty. His dad is a class act too.
