Dear O's hitters: Masterson walks about a batter every other inning. PLEASE stop with the overly aggressive hitting approach. Not like its been working anyway! Work this guy.......

Supposedly Sunday is between Gausman and Norris with Buck leaning more towards Gausman.

After all those 1 run games it's nice to be relaxed in the 7th inning. But, somebody will think we hit too many HR's tonight. biggrin

Just in case there was anyone doubting that the Orioles home run was "inflated" because of bad pitching teams, the Cardinals pitching staff was tied for first place with the Nationals for allowing the fewest homeruns in the Majors.

They broke out the lumber tonite! Jays lose so we lead them by 6 but darn those Yankees...now move into 2nd place still 5 back.
Nice to see Hardy hit a couple. Davis may be regaining his stroke.
But the most important thing is another win against a good team as they roll on.

Wonderful memories! Funny thing, those guys from the 50's and 60's look like me.biggrin Except Jim Palmer....some how he found the fountain of youth! I was 17 when they returned to Baltimore. It was all over the papers for two years before they returned to the ML's and Memorial Stadium was under construction. I attended games there while the International League Orioles played there during the construction. Chuck Thompson called the minor league games and I remember him wondering on the air during a radio broadcast if he would be selected to do the ML games? The rest is history.

Really wish I had been able to go to tonight's game. I could see even Eddie Murray was a little teary eyed tonight.

...I told my wife as we were watching the festivities on TV that I really wished that I had dropped the dough and taken the kids to this game.  What a memory that would have been!  But they would have hit the wall by the time of the celebration and fireworks.wink

Loved seeing Brooksy out there.  He's older, but somehow he still manages to look like a kid enjoying whatever's going on.  I marvel at him in that way.  Seems so happy and carefree.

Lets see if the time off has gotten Jimenez to a place where he can throw strikes. Time to see him earn his keep. Also nice to see the bats light it up again and give him some run support.

Lets go boys. Take the series today.

Ubaldo returns today - I hope he's on and returning to form

If he not they he needs to go directly to the bullpen the rest of the way

no screwing around.

He can figure it out in the offseason
