Yep--on paper and on the field are two different things. Sometimes a team filled with all-stars at every position doesn't jell.
Couple years ago when the Phillies had those 4 aces in their rotation, we all conceded the WS to them in April....and it didn't work out that way at all. Stuff happens.
Not knocking what the Jays (and the Angels) have done...I still hope the O's realize they have some holes to fill (and that they don't pin too much hope on two players coming back from major injuries). Would like to think last year wasn't just a one year abberation.
