Jay Cutler took a beating for Jerry Angelo today.  This line is coated with dog sh.it.   Pace is good once every 2-3 weeks, Omiyale was a disaster and Beekman is avg, Kruetz is obviously washed up, Garza is avg at best, and Williams is a frisbee out there.

Fu*k, man.  Cutler's going to get killed.

He better get use to it. It's not going to change unless they do the following:

1. 3 Step drops.

2. No huddle where Cutler calls the play at the line.

How is Cutlers tounge? Crap Cutler has moxy and we need a two tight end set to protect better . I think we can find a better line if we look in the waiver wire because these guys are not gelling and dont look likw they will.

Scary but true. I don't think there was many pass plays he wasn't getting drilled. And pretty much every time he got up with a smile while being the difference in the game really. Cutler threw for 225 plus ran for 35 while having guys hang all over while Anderson threw for a whopping 76 yards. And he had time! But is that good enough for some on here...nope. ohlord

Agree with you Hes.  Cutler is a tough SOB; I am seriously concerned for his health; sacked four times by the Browns!!??  What happens when the Vikes or Eagles come to town?   It could get  very ugly.  We need to protect the franchise for God's sakes!

I can officially say that our O-line is worse than the Packers O-line and that's pretty embarassing if you ask me. YET, Cutler gets no respect for what he's been able to do for this team, especially from a few on this board (LOL) and the media while Aaron Rodgers gets praised seemingly daily for what he can do with a crap O-line.

Just to rub in it a little bit today...but going into the last drive of the 4th quarter against the Ravens yesterday, Kyle Orton had a whopping 95 passing yards on 19 completions, WOW!!! Like I've said before and I'll say it again, you take away the "dink and dunk" and he struggles BIG TIME!!! Just like last season and his rookie season. I also seen 3 INT's that were dropped by the Ravens defense (must of been his insane arm strength right, LOL) and another pass that actually went right through the hands of the DB and into Royal's.

You've all made great points. OLine Sucks, Cutler am Badass.

To go off on a Grabowski tangent here, I totally want a huge blown up poster of those shots of Cutler after he took that hit to the chin, blood coming out of his mouth and dripping on his helmet, gearing up to snap the ball. What an f'ing crazy warrior!

I don't know of any tough guy that would let somebody else hold his tongue.biggrin

Okay, yeah.  He is tough.  Here's hoping he's comfortably eating a Cap'n Crunch breakfast in comfort.

I wonder who that guy is? Is he the dedicated Chicago Bears Tongue Holder? Does he have that printed on all of his business cards??? I hear the tongue-holding industry is really taking off lately, maybe I should get out of IT...

Re: Cutler a tough SOB

After watching yesterdays game, I started thinking did Cutler may the extension offering to the Bears, because he was afraid that with the lack of protection he is get that his career could end on any given Sunday. And at least this way he would leave with $20,000,000 in his pockets. I don't care how tough of an SOB Cutler is he keeps taking hits like he has been and something going to give out.

Both lines suck, but AR's is clearly a better QB.....Maybe this is why...

AR 14 TD's, 2 INT's, and 110 passer rating, all while being sacked 31 times.

JC 11 TD's, 11 INT's, and 80.8 passer rating, all while being sacked only 15 times.

For the simple minded maybe, but there are other factors in a QB's performance. And offensive coordinator is number 1.

You will find out how important coaching is when you finally play a real team like the steelers.... Oh wait nevermind.
