Game 7 Discussion Thread- Browns @ Bears -12 PM CT CBS

I just want to see a no stress, well played game with good fundamentals for a change.  No flat first half or stupid ****.  That's not too much to ask for against a crappy team like the Browns, is it?

It's called Sex Panther by Odeon.  It's illegal in nine countries.  It's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.  They've done studies, you know......60% of the time it works everytime.

It may not be too much to ask against a crappy team like the Browns, but it may be too much to ask FROM a crappy team like the Bears!! Just kidding, Skep, it was there and I couldnt resist!

Seriously now, I totally agree. In fact, I think its imperative that we play that way to show everyone that Lovie has complete control of his team and that the players and coaches are responding to him positively. If we still look like crap defensively, its gonna open a whole ugly can of worms.

On offense, commit to the run. Please. On defense, make adjustments. If you just so happen to get beat through the air and on the ground, take one away. Do the things that at least 30 of the other teams do every Sunday. I hate when Lovie says " we have to get back to the basics", but they need to today. Maybe he needs to be emphasizing that to his staff just as much as his players.

Who the hell knows what's going to happen after last week? No predictions here.

We need to hand out a beat down today, we need to prove that we don't suck as bad as we did last week.

Today will be the first this year the Bears run run run run run run, I think the Bears will surpass 30+ carries as a team today, I'm predicting over 175+ yards rushing as a team. That would be a first this season.

Hope Forte breaks 100 today.....

Go Bears!

The game is not on here locally, hopefully we will be doing lots of scoring so I can watch on the NFL RedZone channel (which rocks, btw!)

Go Bears! Bear Down!

As it should, unlike last week when we had one bad game on the road against a good team.

Re: Game 7 Discussion Thread- Browns @ Bears -12 PM CT CBS

This is the game that exposes Ron Turner as the weak playcaller he is.  Most teams that face the Browns jump out to huge leads, but Turner just does not have it in him to call a game like that.  He will be content to play a 17-14 game into the 4th quarter, maybe some odd things happen like turnovers, both teams are the type to have strange turnovers...in the end Robbie Gould will win this game with his leg, a couple of FGs will put the Browns away.

What I am saying is the Bears will win, but it wont be a win that feels good.  That, IMO, is the main problem with Ron Turner.  He is unable to string plays along and dictate the game, forever letting weak teams hang around and never getting over the hum to beat the good teams.

You will see a 9-7 type game from a 7-9 team playing against a 3-13 team.

Or, they could win by 50...heh.

Let's have a good game today.  Look forward to seeing some changes on this team and some attitude adjustment.  Unfortuately, it's not a good start.  Aromashadu inactive.  Thpp!

Got to get to my Bears bar.  You guys have a good Bear Down Day!

Win it for Walter and his Moms.  I hope I can see some of the halftime show.

If we play with the heart, soul, fury & passion that Walter Payton did we will destroy the Browns. Every Bear player needs to realize that it is a priviledge to play for the Bears & to remember the reason most of them started playing the game it the 1st place. Because they had "A love for the game". The same reason most of  us will watch every play of the game today. I love football, Walter Payton & the Chicago Bears.

NOW LET'S KICK THE BROWNS AZZ!

Go Bears!

Watch Derek Anderson carve up our secondary like Peyton Manning. We have a habit of making terrible QB's look like all-pros.
