If you were not a Bear fan , what team would you be a fan of????
My wife asked me this question tonight , and i had to give it some serious thought.  It would have been so much easier is she had asked me who i am not a fan of, but her being of the female gender she has to make it difficult. There is not even a team that comes close, that i could think of. I hate any team that's not from Chicago. I hate any team that's in our own division. I hate any team we play, have played or will play. And i most of all hate ( with a passion ) a certain team who's directly North of the border. Ok with that said my second favorite team has to be the Pitsburgh Steelers. Don't ask me why....................... |

If I weren't a Bears fan, it would be because Chicago didn't have a team. So....probably the Packers. Let's be honest.

49ers
Joe Montanna, Jerry Rice were fun to watch and now that Harbaugh is there I really like the way that team looks. I will always be a Bear fan but I'll cheer for SF as long as they aren't playing the Bears.
BTW I could never cheer for the packers I hate that team and their fans.

Living in Carolina so probably the panthers. However, I have also lived in: VA, WA, TN, IL, SC, and NY. So, could be any of those teams really. After Chicago, I am really just a fan of talent.
Just for clarity, I do not like: Cowboys, raiders, packers, steelers.

Living in Hawaii I adopted the Bears very early on. The popular choices to follow in my growing up years were the Niners but I've learned to dislike them at an early age as they were too dominant. LOL
With that being said, I probably would've been a Bronco fan because of John Elway and those Super Bowls in the 80s even if they lost.

Probably the 49ers, or Eagles, really liked what they had back in the 80-90's
But no like for any time then or now could replace the Bears in my opinion.

Since I grew up near Miami, I guess the Dolphins. But I did cheer for PIT when I lived in PA.

I am first and foremost, forever a Bears Fan. After that my loyalties roam. In the 70's i liked the Steelers(Bradshaw, Steel Curtain), hated the Boys(still do). In the 80's-90's, i liked the Broncos (John Elway). Used to like the Aint's, because of Bobby Hebert believe it or not.
And i am a huge Peyton Manning guy so there are the Colts & the Broncos.
Always have hated the Boys, the Pats & the Pack. Although i have to begrudgingly admit some respect for the Pack.

If I wasn't a Bears fan...sheesh, tough to even think that way since I dislike pretty much everything that isn't Bears football. I'd have to say, the Buffalo Bills.
I remember the Marv Levy teams, with Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas etc., and all those Super Bowl appearances when I was growing up.
Other than the Bills, I am a huge fan of Derrick Thomas, so maybe I'd like the Chiefs?

I actually cheered for the Vikings. I had this feeling if the Vikes won , Lovie would be fired. Plus when Lovie said, " go pack go " , i wanted him out now. |

For some reason I owned a Houston Oilers sweatshirt when I was a kid. No idea where that came from. I had never even been to Texas at the time.

Tough one. I've lived all my life in the New York City area. Never liked the Giants. I've always kind of looked at the Jets as my 2nd team but I dislike Rex and Woody Johnson so much that I don't root for them right now. I started rooting for the Bears because of NFL Films pieces on Butkus and Sayers, I always like Payton, and then they drafted McMahon who I was a huge fan of in college. Not sure. Maybe the Chiefs? Liked them on and off over the years.

probably the Giants or 49ers.. no real reason - I usually tend to root them on whenever they aren't playing our beloved Bears.
and as a Boilermaker always rooting for Mr. Brees.
