Tebow
With our latest coaching addition Tebow to Bears is starting to pick up some steam as far as hot rumors.
Please , for the love of all things great. Don't let this happen. I said I will always HATE/Loathe any team that he winds up on.
This will really put it all to the test. The player I can't stand most in the league .(yes it's Teblow) On my favorite team... Don't let this happen! http://espn.go.com/blog/chicag...hed-interesting
When in doubt, blame Cutler !

Re: Tebow
If Tebow came here we'd have the most reviled QB duo in the NFL.
I see Tebow going to the Chargers actually. Just my gut feeling. BOOK IT!

RE: Tebow
Signing Tebow would be the type of move by Emery/Trestman, that would make me light the torches and grab a pitch fork and march my unhappy ass all the way to Chicago and to Halas Hall.
Tebow isn't worth a sh*t! The madness has to stop NOW!!! He's worthless...he has zero accuracy...he has a horrible throwing motion that even Trestman didn't and will not ever fix...he has now been involved in TWO qb controversies (Orton, Sanchez) and he forced one of them out of a job, when he wasn't playing that bad and his presence on the Jets played a huge role in Sanchez regressing as a QB. I don't give a sh*t about his work with the Lord or whatever and I really don't give a damn how nice of a guy he is, because as a NFL football player, he's a guy w/o a position and who doesn't even deserve a roster spot!
F*CK TIM TEBOW!! Rob Gronkowski said he would, lol.

There's really no reason to even take this seriously.

I'm probably the only one who thinks this but I would love Tebow. I would love the drama and Bears on espn 24/7. I actually would like to see Tebow and the bears on hard knocks. I think emery last season said he would entertain the thought. New coach, Cutler, Tebow, Marahall, the guys on d. Bring it on, HBO.
Phil Emery is watching you FAP "Steady progress in the goal of winning championships."

The bears don't need this media circus. The reason.....ESPN will still find a way to destroy Jay, Marshall, and the Bears, all in one sentance! Tebow the tight end is another story!

Besides the fact it's plausible... No it isn't. -We already have one of the highest paid and most experienced backups in the league. -There is no prior connection between Emery (the man who makes the personnel decisions) and Tim Tebow, so the fact that Trestman and Cavanaugh have worked him in the past doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot. -Bringing in Tebow completely undermines your starting quarterback because of the media circus he brings with him, and it would make no sense for the Bears to do something like that to Jay Cutler when they are essentially rebuilding the franchise around him. -The Jets offense was so bad last year that they became a national punchline and everybody associated with that offense plus the GM got fired, and Tebow still couldn't a snap. -Which leads to the most important point regarding whether or not the Bears would bring him in, and that is that Tim Tebow is not a very good NFL player and signing him would do very little to help your football team win games.

I agree that Tebow brings The NFL, ESPN circus, But to say he isn't a very good NFL player is not right. He beat the NFL Steelers in a playoff game didn't he?

RE: Tebow
Matt Cavanaugh had a front seat for that train wreck.....him aboard makes Tebow less likely in my opinion.
Now that Jax has passed....there is a very good possibility Tebow is done....at the very least he is done at QB.

-We already have one of the highest paid and most experienced backups in the league. Campbell has no guarentee to be back this year . Jason Campbell signs with Bears. Jason Campbell is back in the NFC. The Redskins' starting quarterback for three and a half years signed a one-year contract . That makes him a free agent. Don't have to re-sign him.
-There is no prior connection between Emery (the man who makes the personnel decisions) and Tim Tebow, so the fact that Trestman and Cavanaugh have worked him in the past doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot. I think Emery trusts Trestman enough . And yes prior history with a player does mean a lot actually.
-Bringing in Tebow completely undermines your starting quarterback because of the media circus he brings with him, and it would make no sense for the Bears to do something like that to Jay Cutler when they are essentially rebuilding the franchise around him.
exactly why I don't want to it to happen.

Exactly... -Which leads to the most important point regarding whether or not the Bears would bring him in, and that is that Tim Tebow is not a very good NFL player and signing him would do very little to help your football team win games. Bears new HC disagrees with that fact. I , however, agree with you.

RE: Tebow
Just because a trestman worked with him...doesn't mean he thinks he is any good.
Guy was getting paid by Tebow...of course he was going to say good things before the draft.

Tebow's garbage, and anyone that willingly invites that circus to town is retarded...

Aside from the fact that you should never judge anybody based on one game, he was 10-21 passing in that game, right in line with his career 48% completion rate.

RE: Tebow
To say he isn't a very good player is wrong. Think that might be too generous.
He is just a horrible NFL Quarterback....and no way it happens.

Would anyone take him a s a TE/ H-back?
Would he be better than what we have at those positions?

Would he be better than what we have at those positions? I have said since he was in the draft that he would make a decent if not great TE if he can catch. Still there is no way in hell I want that guy on this team especially as QB.
