They lost the game

They lost the game

They lost the game.  One game.

The bigger issue is the compounding injuries.  Jennings didn't look good and now Urlacher may be hurt.  This team can't keep taking injury hits like they are or there won't be many people left.

One thing for sure,  Brandon Marshall is a beast and fun to watch.

8-4.  I'll take it.

Looked like collarbone for Jennings. Didn't look very good. If he is out we have to have Hayden go back to corner and DJ back at nickel. Do not go with Bowman at CB, do not!

Totally sums it up. Sometimes I wonder what losses ARE acceptable to some of you guys. It happens. It sucks that things were left on the field, but it is what it is....8-4.

And with that, I'm seriously gonna try and stop posting for a while.

The Bears are who we THOUGHT they were.

Overrated!

Can't beat legit teams.
Can't beat teams with rookie QB's.

Sick of the homer mentality.

8-4 yes.

Should be 9-5 next week but we should be 10-4 by next week.  Instead we're the joke of the playoffs who no one is afraid of.

Lovie costs us at least one game per year, this was his game.

RE: They lost the game

how bout this

Jay Cutler- 17/26, 233 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT, 119.6RTG

Brandon Marshall- 10 Rec, 165YDS

Offensive Line- Only 1 sack on the Cutler snapafoo, 4QB hits

The offense is clicking at the right time, we just have to hope the defense hasn't peaked yet and we should be fine
in the other hand I'm not going to lie I was impressed with our O-line  we will be ok bears fans. have faith

Re: They lost the game

In the scheme of things the only thing that this game did was dangle the carrot that with a win we would've passed SF in the standings. Had we won today we would have had the 2 seed. We still have a game left against GB so it takes the sting out of today, because GB only ties us today.

What today's win or loss means is in question, but it does put extreme significance on GB's trip to Soldier Field.

Jay to Marshall is clicking. Had Jeffery and Hester been availlable we would've destoyed Seattle. Good for Sea as it stands now we'll see them in the playoffs in Chicago. We all know how that goes, nothing gained or lost for us today.

So what was your thought on the Colts game.

How was today about Lovie?

Did he drop passes and suck at tackling?

This board is hilarious right now.

RE: They lost the game

We were just beaten, at home, by a SECOND rookie QB and are now in second place behind Green Bay at 8-4.

We have left:

@MIN
GB
@ARZ
@DET

Now, in theory, we should win 3 of 4 of those games.  THe problem of course is that we won't win the division because we can't beat Green Bay and that puts us in a situation where we are going into the playoffs as a wild card team that no one fears.

I just can't get over the fact that our defense got beat by two fricking rookies.  If we are really that legit, there is no way we lose to two rookie QB's.

I no longer believe in this team.  Marshall & Cutler, yes.  Everyone else, no.

Actually think we'd play the Giants since you wouldn't play the other wildcard team.

Kaepernick is a second year player. So we have been beaten by one rookie.

DEFINE A LEGIT TEAM, THIS IS THE NFL NOT FCS VS SEC WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE.
Can't beat teams with rookie QB's.
FYI...BEARS HAVE ONLY PLAYED 2 AND ARE 1-1...ANDREW LUCK....CHECK.  RUSSELL WILSON....NO.  Big deal
Sick of the homer mentality.

8-4 yes.
THATS A RECORD I WOULD TAKE EVERY YEAR AT THE 12 GAME POINT IF ASKED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON.

It's not that the loss doesn't suck, it's how some people react.  It is laughable.

Re: They lost the game

I'm more concerned about the tie-breaker and the health of this team right now than I am of the fact that the defense stunk in the 4th qtr/OT. They will always bounce back. They simply got out-played by a player who is among the fastest improving players in the league.

Deeply disappointing and sickening, but this defense is still among the best in the league.

What tie breaker? SF is a half game ahead and if we beat GB we are full game ahead.

I think they lose all the division games and maybe beat Arizona.  That puts them at 9-7.  I don't care of they make the playoffs, this team was built to win the Super Bowl.  I have zero confidence in this team to win road playoff games so it will in essence be a wash.  I wonder how much more of this madness will continue before Emery realizes Lovie has been through 3 defensive coordinators and 4 offensive coordinators and still has no Super Bowl ring?  The Bulls got tired of their mediocrity and Gar Forman cleaned house.  The Blackhawks got tired of their mediocrity and John McDonough cleaned house.  The Bears are just stuck in neutral right now and I am not sure Phil Emery shouldn't do the same with his team.  I like Lovie and would hate to see him go but if this team finishes 9-7 he will have to pay with his job.

gotta play with the guys you've got. if the wr corps is decimated, but you are deep at rb, and have at least one back who could catch 80 balls if you ever threw one in his direction, you have to use that guy.

we are deep on defense. plug the next guy in.

throw the ball to forte. just do it.

Typical Tavern Hok fan.

Injuries have hurt the Offense and no I am not talking about O-line. Alshon Jeffery alongside a healthy Marshall adds a dynamic dimension the passing hasn't seen in Chicago, since forever!

The tie-breaker with the Seahawks for a wildcard spot.
