Very interested to see what we hear before the game re starters (does Izzy come back? is Hester pulled from return duties at last?). And of course what The New Stiffs do on the line today.

This game turned into one of the biggest games for our Bears... They lose this welcome to 3rd place and out of the play off hunt for now.
I'm not sure how they are going to do offensively with 2 new linemen but they do have Cutler back so hopefully he can make this line serviceable and put points up.

Like i said in another thread, the Bears should win this. Theyre the better team but the Vikings are catching them at a great time. Vikings coming off a bye, Bears on a short week + holidays, two new starters on the OL and Jays first game back from a concussion.
I wonder if the Vikings are going to catch the Bears off guard like the Niners did and come out passing the ball w/o Harvin. Stack the box and make Ponder beat you without Harvin. He's done it once but i dont think he does it today. Bears win a close one.

Bears do what they are supposed to do and we will win. Even with only average at best offensive line play.
People need to remember , Jay is used to line problems with the Bears.
Several times Monday night Campbell acted like he had hrs to throw by dropping back and scanning the field and not even watching the rush and got worked over.
When in doubt, blame Cutler !
Adam Shefter reporting Jay cutler will likely be suspended for the next 3 years because he smiled. - Anytime23

This is a game where Rod M. gets his D super motivated with a home/div. game etc...but the most important part is Jay staying vertical AND making good choices when he throws the ball. Forte and Bush need to pound the rock and the Vike D line into the ground, Weems needs to be the kr/pr today,if nothing else to remind DH to run N & S not E&W! All of this will succeed if the O line plays an average game in their blocking schemes. p.s. no KD today..Adams instead with Spaeth to help block/chip if needed on Allen. I would like to see Bush and Forte in the b-field together just to change the look for the D...short routes to open up the field for everything else...copy SF's approach on us. |

Vikings are a a good team that has been plagued by questionable QB play. Probably not a great team, but better than most seem to think. I think at the very least we will make a game of it. Hoping for a good, injury free game for everyone!
