Gallup's latest poll of registered voters: Obama 47%, Romney 47%

PRINCETON, NJ -- Registered voters' preferences for president are evenly split in the first three days of Gallup tracking since last Wednesday's presidential debate. In the three days prior to the debate, Barack Obama had a five-percentage-point edge among registered voters.

Largest Debate bump in history:

Romney Posts Historic Win in Debate

An Oct. 4-5 Gallup poll finds roughly two in three Americans reporting that they watched the Oct. 3 debate, similar to what Gallup measured for each of the three 2008 presidential debates. Those who viewed the debate overwhelmingly believe Romney did a better job than Obama, 72% to 20%. Republicans were nearly unanimous in judging Romney the winner. But even Democrats rated Romney as doing a better job than Obama, 49% to 39%.

Regardless of which candidate you happen to support, who do you think did the better job in last/Wednesday night’s debate -- [ROTATED: Mitt Romney (or) Barack Obama]?

Mitt Romney will not win the election. The Republicans blew their chance to unseat the worst President in history. Get over it.

If all of Paul's supporters would vote for Mitt, I'm pretty sure Mitt would win...  Just saying.

If Mitt wouldn't have treated us like crap, maybe we would consider... Don't pretend like the primary fraud and convention fraud didn't happen.

I've been intrigued by how negative so many libertarians have been following that debate.  On the one hand you've got liberals railing about how bad the President was and then on the other hand how Romney's performance has only made Paulites more caustic.

I'm not sure what you mean... Of course the media makes a big deal out of it. They want us to believe there is a big difference.

All I heard was a bunch of rhetoric with no substance. Romney kept talking about things he would cut, but the only thing I heard was PBS, which doesn't really get us anywhere. They both were arguing for government- just different kinds of government.

According to 538, Romney still only has a 25% chance. Better than the 15% he had before the debate, but we'll see if he can sustain this momentum and build on it through the election. I'm sure the debate was a wake up call for Obama.

The Colorado study that has never been wrong says Romney wins easily.
