Those are some pretty weak football schools.  At least they added Nebraska.

I don't like adding two teams on the east coast. All these conferences adding teams is scewing things up. I am in favor of adding teams that geographically make sense.

They are already the richest conference in the nation as far as football goes.  Greed is ruining college sports.

Boooooo

I love Rutgers in the Big East. I love the underdog attitude that the Big East gets. If they go to the Big 10 I have to stop trashing.

Delany wants this. Im not a fan of his. It would help recruiting in jersey and maryland. Two states with talent.

Supposedly the Big Ten is behind this. Surprised no conference has gone hard after Louisville yet.

Feel like Maryland is a bigger get than Louisville. Rutgers too, probably.

Is rutgers an aau school or not. Because we get billions in grants from the ncaa. Nebraska isnt anymore and most big ten fams, especially michigans, are proud of this.

This isnt tje 60s anymore. 3 yards and a cloud of dust doesnt exist. Most teams run the spread these days. Michigan will be running tje WC offense while borges is here.

Id rather have georgia tech anyway. Gets the atl market.

Big 10 still is overrated. PAC 12 and SEC are where the top teams play

Big ten gets no love from qnyone. How is it overrated. It just so happens our top teams are either on probation or coming off tje worst years in thier schools history. Have you looked up michigans record vs the sec?

All I know is that OSU was in the Title game like every year for like 5 years and get abused by the SEC and Pac 10.

Before today, the Big 10 (+2) had the TV markets of Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.  Now with Maryland, they add DC and Baltimore and they'll add New York City when Rutgers join.  That is a lot of potential TV revenue and more eyeballs watching the Big Ten Network.

Now I have a request for the Big Ten.  Can we please get a new name for the conference, please?

The Big Ten is always hated on because we don't have the high powered offenses that hate defense in football. Then we have defense in basketball and it's a slow game of basketball. The conference was way down this season in football, but they are the best in basketball and it's really not close. The ACC has a case, but they are a step behind the B1G.
