Trumbo to LF for us?

Trumbo to LF for us?
The ESPN article stated that Trumbo may be moved out of LA. Would you guys want him in LF for us, and what would you offer to give up?
I know the guy can mash, but honestly don't know about him as a defensive player, baserunner, teammate, etc.
Seems a logical fit, maybe we can make 2 deals in the same winter with the Angels.

If only we hadn't jumped the gun and dealt Tommy Hanson, we could have maybe package him in a deal with the Angels to bring him in Trumbo. bleh

Has it ever occurred to you guys lambasting Wren for trading Hanson when he did that he did so to clear some salary for another acquisition which fell through? Ca-ca happens, sometimes.
... and its not like the return he received (Walden) is terrible.

His bat is too much like Uggla and Upton. Power, low OBP. Three in a lineup is too much.

Peter Bourjos might be more of an option. Trumbo is not going to be traded

If we trade for Bourjos, it better not involve any really good prospects. I'd rather try to build a package around Delgado for Fowler. For the Angels, if they aren't offering Trumbo, I'm not interested.

people were so up in arm over singing Upton for his lack of OPS and Ks
Tumbo falls in those same arguments.
And if the reports are true about the angels looking for a pitcher I have my doubts he will be a brave unless we are willing to trade Medlen, Minor, or Beachy.

Lol @ them even considering moving trout for anything less than heyward and medlen+. Im not really interested in Trumbo. The only thing he does well is hit home runs and living in socal and knowing one of his former minor league teammates I've heard bad things about his attitude. I wouldn't mind having him, but would not want to give up a valuable young pitcher for him. Bourjos could be a possibility if he only cost a mid level prospect like Spruill. His main value is as a cfer however...
