OT:Royals Trade Myers
Would love to have this guy in left... Said to be looking for a front line starter. Got info from rotoworld

Re: Royals shopping Myers
Myers would be my main target if I was GM. He is going to be a franchise player and would replace Chipper as such. He wouldn't come cheap, but he would be worth it. They want front line pitching, so it would probably mean parting with Medlen to get him. While I would hate to lose Kris, getting Myers in return would be worth it. If they would accept one of Teheran/Delgado, and someone like JR Graham, I'd try to go that route.
KC gets: Kris Medlen and Evan Gattis, or Teheran/Delgado, Graham and Gattis
Braves get: Wil Myers
I'd then trade Tommy Hanson for Denard Span for center field and go after Greinke to head the rotation.

RE: Royals shopping Myers
Price is going to be way too high to trade for Myers. Just not sure its a good idea to trade Medlen honestly.

RE: Royals shopping Myers
Myers is THE guy we should get. Medlen and Delgado/Teheran. Make it happen

Wil Myers is that rare athlete that, if you ever have a real chance to get, you do it.
Myers career minor league line - .303/.395/.522/.917 Chippers career minor league line - .312/.379/.484/.864

Re: Royals shopping Myers
I would shocked if the Royals wanted Medlen or Minor for Meyers. I see them shooting for someone better.

RE: Royals shopping Myers
You should be able to get guys like Price/Felix for him. D-Backs would probably trade Upton/Bauer. Maybe.

RE: Royals shopping Myers
I would offer them Medlen/Minor, Gattis/Bethancourt, and Delgado/Julio and see if that gets them to bite, we probably don't have waht it takes to get him.

For a kid that has yet to make one MLB at bat? You should get the keys to Kauffman Stadium for what you are offering. ZitotheBrave wrote: I would offer them Medlen/Minor, Gattis/Bethancourt, and Delgado/Julio and see if that gets them to bite, we probably don't have waht it takes to get him.

If you offer them 2 major league ready starting pitchers that could be interested. But if the Rays offer someone like Moore we wouldn't get myers.

I highly doubt the Rays would trade Matt Moore, a future ace lefty that is cheap and under team control for 5 more years.

Re: Royals shopping Myers
That would actually be a decent deal. Minor, Graham, Ahmed Or La Stella for Myers would be fair.

Re: Royals shopping Myers
So a guy who have hit not 1 major league pitch is worth one of our best pitchers, our best SP prospect, and in Ahmed case our best position player prospect?

Re: Royals shopping Myers
Yeah. Ahmed is nothing special with the bat. Minor is a cheap front line starter, graham has 2-3 potential. Royals want proven young starters. There's plenty of pitchers on Minors level, probably close to 70-100 pitchers on Graham's level and Ahmed is not worth much but how many players are on Myers level? It's a lot easier to find pitchers than hitter like Myers

--------------------------------------------- Ahmed is actually getting very good reviews with his bat. He would be the simmons of this year if it wasn't for Simmons. But the Royals are not going to take a deal like that IMO.

If you were Moore what would your price be? One of Moore, Price or Shields? A combo of the D-Backs guys? --------------------------------------------- --- skidlee21 wrote: krgrecw wrote: Yeah.
