I think Jerome Williams and Jered Weaver have found the blue print to Angels success, all we need is our pitchers to throw complete game shut outs

If someone could verify his age as being older than he states that he is would the Angels be on the hook for his salary?

That's ridiculous. It should be guaranteed based upon honesty. I know the NBA contracts are. Essentially a clause stating something along the lines of "We guarantee you X money if you guarantee that the details that we know about you are indeed factual. upon signing this contract if it is found to be dishonest then this is considered a breach of contract....."

It has yet to happen in basketball but seems to be much more likely in baseball.

Jose Bautista goes yard on Santana. 3-0 Blue Jays.

We will be lucky to win 60 games.

That FACT that Henderson Alvarez has only thrown 84 pitches in 8 innings just goes to show that the real problem is Mickey Hatcher.

When will the fans start booing la broken machine?

Pujols started to get booed loudly (as he should). I'm sorry, but if you sign for 250 mil, you at least have to hit above the Mendoza line. Guy is hitting .190 and making the Vernon wells trade look good in comparison.

No one ever seems to get this.

Good pitchers throw complete games (or go deep into games) against the Angels because their pitch counts are always low verses the free-swingin' Halos.

Throwing a complete game against the Angels is almost no big deal.

Saturday Nigh Fever - 6:05

C.J. Wilson (3-2; 2.40) vs. Kyle Drabek (2-2; 2.70)

Halos once again, trying to show Hatcher the door. Can they score?

RE: Jays at Angels - Series Thread (May3 ~ 6)

Pujols FINALLY takes a seat.

Wells is out of the #2 hole (which was ridiculous) and now batting a more appropriate 7th.

Bourjos out of the line-up again (why not send him back to AAA to at least play??).

Trout still batting lead-off for no apparent logical reason.

Need CJ to throw a gem.

Trumbo crushes a dinger.

Can't believe Drabek is still in this game. I've never seen a pitcher throw so many fastballs in the dirt in front of home plate.

Trout and Trumbo ... TnT ? biggrin
