Trumbo gets rewarded for his dinger Sunday by sitting out Monday. Izzy at 3rd.

I guess hitting .375 isn't good enough.

I know...bench $250 million...and play Trumbo at first.

Great win, tired of Trumbo sitting. Look, -play the kid or trade him, don't ruin him. Would Tampa do a Bourjos, Trumbo and soemone else for Longoria? Or add a some BP peices. Need to do something.

Wasn't Weaver supposed to be the perfect strike out/flyball pitcher for Trumbo to play 3b??

Trumbo hasn't started in either of Weaver's last 2 starts.

I think theTrumbo at 3b project is growing cold very fast.

Nice to see Kendrys go deep.

Weaver was Weaver biggrin

May be time (or beyond time) to get Aybar out of the lead-off spot.

I think they know he's not a 3b.   LF may ne an easier switch.

Too many options in the OF to play him there.

Need to trade him, sadly.

Albert Pujols Bobblehead Night

Image Detail

Angels line-up for Tuesday

E. Aybar ss

H. Kendrick 2b

A. Pujols 1b

K. Morales dh

T. Hunter rf

V. Wells lf

A. Callaspo 3b

C. Iannetta c

P. Bourjos cf

This is the Angels 11th game.

Trumbo has made 3 starts at 3b and 2 starts at DH.

At this admittedly early juncture and small sample size, Trumbo has a higher batting average, higher OBP, higher Slugging pct. than any of the Halos regulars.

Just sayin"

Vernon grounding out on a 3-0 count. Scioscia will turn a blind eye to this cardinal sin. Could only imagine how long Trumbo would be benched for committing the same transgression?

Pujols running the bases like Vlad.

No hitter is trying to work the count.

Should a WE WANT JOE MADDON THREAD get started....

Butcher's bullpen butchered another lead.

DFA Jepsen so Tampa Bay can acquire him off waivers and have a real coaching staff fix his mechanics.

I don't know which is killing my buzz more - the bullpen or Pujols slump. What a shame he has started so slowly and taken the shine off our newest Halo. Sad.

If only we'd kept Mathis rather than sign Pujols....

Mathis for World Series MVP....

Albert Pujols worst acquisition in Angels history....

Pujols belts one ... ah, it's off the wall. 2nd double of the night.

Halos down 4-2 (unfortunate 2 run error by Wilson).

Runners on 1st and 2nd, 2 outs, Wells up.

Hit to left ... Nope.

Going 2 the 6th, 4-2 A's.

Come on. Angels can beat Balfour. This guy choked away every chance he had to close in Tampa Bay. I don't think he can do it for the A's either.

Torii, hacking at the first pitch, grounds into the inning-ending doubleplay.

Despite outhitting the A's 10-3, the Halos lose their 3rd straight to the lowly A's.
