KCRM
Take away the five turnovers and K.C. Ross-Miller had a good game on both sides of the ball versus Utah State. He scored ten points on 4 of 6 shooting (1 of 2 from beyond the arc) and 1-1 from the charity stripe. He had three assists and two steals, did not get in foul trouble and played 29 out of the 40 minutes.
For NMSU to continue its upward move the Aggies will need to get positive minutes out of KCRM. He's s l o w l y getting better, but still seems to dribble into trouble that sometimes leads to the turnovers. To be fair his turnover numbers had been decreasing prior to the Utah State game, but in my opinion he has still not mastered the art of playmaking.
I think the jury is still out on KCRM, but I'm hoping it returns with a "not guilty" verdict.

Re: KCRM
It was good to see him score in back to back games it should help going forward if they cheat too much on Sim but also open the lane for Sy

Re: KCRM
The missing links for this team, in my opinion, was the play of Sy and the point guard. Sy has really come on, and while the PG play has improved slightly, it's gotta ways to go.

RE: KCRM
We rode up in the elevator with KC after the game. He said it was a pulled hamstring. Walked gingerly, seemed like he was in some pain.

RE: KCRM
Well, hopefully he can nurse it back to health by Wednesday. Otherwise, de Rouen needs to step up and facilitate the offense better than it ran tonight.

RE: KCRM
Doubt that he'll play. Everything that I'm reading says around three weeks for a grade 1 (mildest) pull, Even allowing that he's an athlete and NMSU probably has advanced therapies (beyond RICE), it's hard to imagine that he would play until after next week's road trip.

RE: KCRM
Well many people call many things pulled hamstrings so by end of tomorrow they should know if short term or over 3 weeks min. Anybody know if this is a re-injury?
If he was allowed to walk on it this soon, I mean when you say came up the elevator it sounds like they allowed him to put weight on it so unless you left out crutches wild guess is not serious or poor after game medical. Just wild fan speculation by me with little info or knowledge on the subject

RE: KCRM
He was hobbling, but no crutches. The problem is, if you bring him back too quick, it's just asking for re-injury. Menzies did say in the post-game interview that KC said the hamstring was tight during warm-up. Probably wasn't able to stretch it enough.

Re: KCRM
My guess is that he is out 4 to 6 weeks, will be lucky to have him back at full speed by the WAC tournament.

Re: KCRM
They should have a good idea by now if it is serious and about how long he should be out at a minimum. Has anyone heard? My guess is if no news it's not serious and a fast return
