at first glance i thought it was unintentional but after taking a second look i think differently. the culprit on usu, that #5 shaw was frustrated all night by Sim's presence, showing it to the refs on several different occasions by constantly whining and complaining every time a call went against him. #5 shaw's frustration led to him being completely careless, wreckless and have no disregard for violently elbowing and injuring an opposing player.
the play in question resulted in an offensive goal tending on #5 shaw, his first offense. but then he directly follows it up with hanging on the rim(second offense in my opinion) and then his worst criminal act, he decides to wrecklessly and violently swing his elbows down with no disregard for any opposing player around him. and i have a BIG feeling #5 shaw, saw BIG Sim out of the corner of his eye.
i only hope this makes Sim play even meaner, tougher and continue to initiate contact on the offensive end and push EVERYONE around. there's no reason why we cant have another block party with Sim waving his finger "NO!" and leading us to another sweep of utah state.

I was afraid that his nose was broken. It was a very viscious, unintentional hit (or so it seemed). I hope "The Bull" is ok.
