NMSU is 0-2 so far against the rivals and that will not help ticket sales.  UNM crushed NMSU in Albuquerque.  The full contingent of NMSU students who normally would turn out for this game will not be there because, for the 2nd year in a row, the game is being held when the semester is over (and again, for some reason, the first game was held in ABQ).

Sure there's a home court advantage, but whoever shows up firing on all cylinders on game night has a bigger advantage.  If NMSU is ready, some empty seats won't kill them (or keep them out of the SBC, CUSA or whatever else people are worried about :) . )

I personally have railed against the seat premium for 4 years plus to no avail. I outlined my position on this in great detail, yet they choose to ignore a native Las Crucen who was one of the first people through the doors of the Pan Am the day it opened.

In case those in charge do not realize it, NMSU Men's Basketball is ALL YOU GOT. It is plain and simple. We do not have football, soccer, tennis or any other Division One Sport. We are a one trick pony. And when that pony is tied up behind the shed and fed counterfeit hay and fake oats we will struggle.

It is time to let the horse loose, feed it some quality student participation, some quality no seat premium season tickets, some quality no muzzling environment, some quality three blind mice skits, and all the stuff those here have outlined many many many many many times, only to fall on deaf / stubborn / politically correct NMSU Administration ears.

We have been plain and simple and consistent on what makes the Pan Am special and what to do about the downspike they have created.

Wake up. We want our Pan Am back. It is all we got.

Don't rob us of that too.

Since the Aggies don't seem to have anyone that can shoot the ball with any accuracy and consistency beyond 5 feet from the basket they will lose to the lobos yet again in the PAC.   I predict a twelve point loss.

You are one of these hens who can't get past Coach Menzies hire, you lose all credibility in my book if you can't look at a situation w/o hate and spite. You are absolutely CLUELESS if you think a Coach, ANY coach and not just Menzies, goes into a game to lose.
