Re: Nate Sassaman Wall Street Journal article

Sassaman pulling a Conseco.  The guy is lucky he isnt in jail and now he's pulling the typical "hey I spill all the dirty secrets in my book, send me your money"  I guess he forgot the honor part in "duty, honor, country".

The guy goes from Brigade Commander to high school gym teacher.  I have to agree, not much of a loss to the army.

I think you nailed the proper analogy!  This book is all about a certain COL who had GO aspirations, but now has his panties in a wad because of his poor leadership and dumb decisions. So, instead of playing the hand he was dealt and learning from his actions, he is instead opting for the "scorched earth" tactic and blaming others.

I had great admiration for Nate from his days as the field general for the Army Team, but to say that has been knocked down a few notches would be a gross understatement.  Hopefully he'll grow up and man up!!!

“For he today who sheds his blood with me shall be my brother…and gentlemen in England now abed shall think themselves acursed they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap…”Henry V (W. Shakespeare)
