Hey Rab

Knowing in all of your years you have never seen Army win a road game in person I was thinking when it was 33-0 what thoughts you must have had?

I have been to a few road games over the years and I can say I saw the team win in 1988 in the Yale Bowl . I saw them beat Rutgers that year on the road as well but in Giants Stadium where Rutgers played almost all their home games then.

And we should have beaten Syracuse the first game in 1989. That was a long 5 hour ride home.

I hope that the cheese stakes were at least good and the ride home not traffic filled.

Re: Hey Rab

We only went to a few away games during the time we had tickets for Army home games, but we did go to that Syracuse game.  I seem to recall it rained.  Although the game was inside, the walk to the car was not.  It certainly was a long drive home after that one.

Re: Hey Rab

When it was 33-0, I thought that obviously I was not going to break my losing streak today so I said to myself, "Hey RAB, you got one more shot in 2013- Hawaii."
Lord Willing I will be there, hoping, hoping ,hoping.

Man, I'm really down tonight. I really thought we had a 0-6 Temple team on the ropes as I left home this morning. I really did.
I am in shock as usual but very much used to it.
I have seen every game in the Linc when Army has played .0-11 as of this moment. That is just awful but what can you do as a fan?
Right, nothing.
All I can say is we are consistent.
Traffic not bad at all. Only 25k for todays game. It looked smaller than that in a big NFL stadium.
The Temple band was great and as an Army fan, you don't see many bands at Michie. Nice to hear what good entertainment from a musical group can actually be these days. I enjoyed the day but sure not the score.
