Army Beats AU in MBB 77-64
Good win.
Army starts 5 Plebes with E. Ellis coming off the bench. I saw this (EE off bench - not 5 Plebes) coming with EE being in a funk lately. I don't think this is a rest of season move, but I look for it to continue until we lose a game.

Rows, starting five plebes. If it wins games, I like it! Not sure if we can claim any causal link, but I still like it.
Beat 'em!

For the First Time in a Long Time...
Big men have actually participated in the offense. I think sometimes these things sneak up on you. Ferguson is getting a lot of playing time and growing in confidence. He's not anywhere near being named the PL rookie of the week or anything, but he's showing good mobility and aggressiveness going to the hoop. He's always a presence on d, with those long arms everywhere. Pack a few pounds on him over the next couple of years and... who knows? Andrew Stire is playing great too. I see Pancoe in sweats on the sidelines. I guess he's hurt.

Bison, Don't make me take back everything good I said about you. I was just being foolish. However, I did think Wilson was a direct admit, but I was wrong.
I imagine the Prep School team was pretty good last year. Tried to check the USMAPS site for their record but as discussed many times before it is a national secret that has not been declassified yet.

Too bad, I always liked his game, thought he had the potential of a Matt Bell type of career. Shout out to Cox: not only did he lead the team in rebounds, but in the last two games he's accrued 16 assists and 0 t/os. That's just sensational. And a shout out to Coach Spiker, as he and his staff did excellent work with the 2016 recruiting class.

I believe USMAPS was 23-7 last year.

At the Bucknell game, it looked like he may have moved into a student coaching role.

armyfan, I did go to the facebook page & saw the wonderful news about beating USNAPS but I might just be too old to know how to find the schedule & results from last year.
Anyhow thanks to a parent looks like they were 23-7. Not to shabby. How about we set that as a target for season after next when they are all cows.

Re: For the First Time in a Long Time...
Impressive win. However, I think it may be the grit, determination, the time they played at USMAPS together is the key to the win. In addition, this class of 2016 may have had a greater amount of playing time than maybe any class before them. (Although last years 2015 class logged a substantional amount of playing time.) Experience and playing time is very critical to late season success for any Freshman. Not to take anything away from them, as they are very talented class.
