Did anyone see UCF take on Ball St this evening.?

UCF won comfortably (I forget the score).   The reason I post this is that the the UCF OC is Charlie Taaffe, who I think was the very best OC Army has had in the wishbone/TO eras.  Some of us would have liked him to have gotten the job when RE was hired.  I'm not so sure he couldn't have been our PJ.excitedexcitedexcited

Ball State was considered a mid level MAC team this year.  Watching them play UCF, the speed differential was so vast, it was incredible.  The Ball State kids could not move the ball or cover due to the speed and quickness of UCF.

Though I'm not a fan of the transitive property in college football, I think in this case it shows where Army is at athletically as a roster today.

Don't forget CT had some "issues" while the HC at the Citadel. He had two episodes of suspected DUI, and was quickly shown the exit. I believe he was eventually cleared of charges both times, or the charges got reduced. Either way, a record like that will not land you a job these days at a service academy without some major "explaining" to a Superintendent. I'm not making a commentary on whether that's fit or wrong, just pointing out reality.

Taafe has been talked about for the Army HC job thru the past 5 hires. By the time he is considered , he probably will be 102 years old. pirate

NC State's new coaching staff came mostly from Northern Illinois...not sure what that has to do with Ball State's bowl performance.

"Well that's just like, um, your opinion man."

NCSU and Ball State both wear red? Damn good question though, I thought I missed something.

Merry Christmas to all, even Navy fans!

Again, what does Northern Illinois have to do with Ball State's coaches? NC State's new head coach and staff came from Northern Illinois, not Ball State.

Ball State has had ZERO coaching departures this season.
