Why the hell is Army playing a D-3 school? What a joke!

Army usually plays one D-III school every year. Most D-I teams do.

Yeah, sure. If that be the case why doesn't the football team play a Division 111 team for pete sakes! Try that and you would be laughed at to oblivion. In basketball, go right ahead. No jokes, just a blowout win. Something is just not right with this NCAA setup we have these modern times.

So you must really think he was a loser who deserves to be laughed to oblivion. BTW, as alluded to above, the majority of Army's opponents - including Navy and Air Force - also have a D3 team on their schedule.

Re: The Rosemont that the Army basketeers play on Saturday...
A word or two about the game...for some reason (I remember this happened once last year too) it's like 85 degerees in the gym). Rosemont played an aggressive man to man the entire game. I was surprised to see later that our turnover count wasn't higher. We played sloppy. Rebounding certainly helped in the final margin. 18 players played at least 4 minutes apiece. Ellis struggled, even when we made a concerted effort to get him some points in the opening minutes of the second half. I'm sure that Kyle Wilson would admit this was his worst outing to date. His 4 turnovers were unforced and his three 3 attempts were well off the mark, one hitting the side of the backboard. His other misses seemed to come at point blank range on takes to the hole. Player of the game I would give to Tanner Plomb who finally looked comfortable from 3, but mostly for his strong defensive effort. Looking forward to the Texas trip. Army has 8 players on the roster from TX, 3 from Houston, including Ella Ellis.
Merry Christmas everyone!

I didn't say what you mean Bison. BB can play ALL the Division 3 teams they want. Fine with me. Nobody is laughing on who the Army BB team plays including me. My point is if the FOOTBALL TEAM ever played a Division 3 team, they would be laughed into oblivion for doing so. I asked why is this so?

I like Stire too. He's from up around this way (Albany NY). He's solid, a lefty w some decent footwork and a great shooting percentage.

The biggest thing that sticks out to me about him is his hands. He always catches the ball off of dribble penetration. Solid, workman-like player. Too bad he's not 6'11". This is America, somebody needs to be blamed for that. Mr. and Mrs. Stire, what have you to say for yourselves?
