Change the door lock on RE office
Pay a worker OT to change it before the team gets back to WP and put all his stuff in boxes.
Wishful thinking on my part knowing the fools at WP love RE and he is going no place.

If RE returns next year, same old, same old. 3-9 record. NT

RE: Change the door lock on RE office
The glass half-full crowd is still in a swoon from the air force win. Hopefully this stinging collapse brought back some reality to the dreadful season this has been.

Didn't lose the game himself. Has lost the team though.
Nobody wants RE out because of the RU loss. They want him out because of the consistent losing, lack of leadership, poor in-game management, uninspiring performances, accusations of nepotism, and reluctance to make changes.

Re: Change the door lock on RE office
It is not only the RU game but last season and this season together. Also the man has not had a above .5.00 season since he has been at WP.
As a body of work over 46 regular season games so far RE is 16-30 in the regular season over almost 4 seasons. Maybe in some peoples eyes 16-30 is good. I feel it is good enough to earn most coaches a pink slip . I guess some here do not think or do not care what the teams record is.

I do believe that somebody said that Trent was the emergency snapper. I would have rather seen him out there than the coach's kid who is on the travel squad because his dad is the Head Coach. jimbearnj wrote:

RE: Change the door lock on RE office
Army coach Rich Ellerson Opening statement “Four times in the plus 20 (red zone) and no points. Some real opportunities there. Obviously, the kicking game was a disaster. The opportunities missed. The good news is that we battled into scoring position."
That sums up why the lock should have been changed. There is nothing good about being in the redzone four times and getting nothing out of it. Two blocked field goals and a turnover are never good things and how he can find anything positive about that is beyond me.

Re: Didn't lose the game himself. Has lost the team though.
I don't know anything about Cerva and hope that nobody is in a wheelchair. If someone is in a wheelchair I would hope it is not to be kidded about. Bottom line Jim Bear: How is Army special teams, and how have they improved since RE got here? Also, did it occur to anyone that the good/great coaches usually have excellent special teams? And did you ever notice that poor/average coaches usually have weak special teams? Add special teams to the list of things we haven't done well...since Justin Trimble was here! jimbearnj wrote: keco616 wrote: accusations of nepotism Who is supposed to long snap? I'm tired of my negativity and jumping ugly on RE. It seems..
useless anyway since the consensus on this forum is that he'll be back for sure in 2013. So no more ringing endorsements from me on changing RE's locks. Besides, Obama's re-election has taken away a lot of my fight, for the near term anyway.

Come on some guys looks for stuff. I watched Grochowski. AJ work with Ellerson who handled both short and long snapping last season at USMAPS and saw half their games. I saw five games and never saw bad snaps. Groch was in a great rhythm last year and missed one kick the whole year. It why the staff kept them together. Groch has been steady (10-14) if inconsistent until that Carlton like performance yesterday.

Re: Change the door lock on RE office
What in the hell does a presidential election have to do with Rich Ellerson's job security? Or, did i miss something else on Tuesday?

Expect that this adventure is going to be difficult. It is going to be hard. And expect to win.

Oh well, he lost 2 games this year....and the snap happened. You are what your record says you are. Quit making excuses. jimbearnj wrote: ARMYonthe50 wrote: I don't know anything about Cerva and hope that nobody is in a wheelchair.
