An update on McHenry... he ran VERY well for USAFA at Nebraska this past weekend, qualifying for the finals in the 60m dash with a time of 6.96 against sprinters from the likes of Nebraska, Iowa, Wichita State, and Oral Roberts (he finished 5th in the final). I don't have to tell this well-educated crowd that running the same time at (near) sea-level as he did at USAFA the week before is a significant improvement (D=(1/2)*Cd*Rho*V^2) He's the real deal. (

In other track notes, our C4C pole vault recruit from TX (Dylan Bell) vaulted 17'4+" in Reno to move to 5th all-time for AFA indoors. Fully SIX of our vaulters could clear 17' this year--no wonder Scotty Steffan was named Collegiate Pole Vault Coach of the Year.
