This is going to be one hell of a tough game for the Falcons and it appears from the lack of discussion on the Fresno board about the game Bulldog fans are confident their team is going to win easily over AF.  I can understand the confidence shown by your fans, but I have to think TD has been warning his players not to dismiss the Falcons as easy prey.

Looking forward to a exciting and close game,

Mike

^^^ Some think that it will be a blowout. But not all, I personnally think it will be a 4 quarter game. We have had trouble defending against the option. Especially in the first half. Air Force does better than anyone, so I am not as confident. The best thing for us is, that this is a home game. I would predict 28-24 either team could win.

Im very nervous about this game....we have a very fast aggressive D and in playing an option team if you bite you get burned.......

If our D doesn't get sucked out of position we will get the W, but thats a big IF!!!!biggrin

Re: Fresno State Fan Here...

I think the world of TD and would love to see him return to the AFA if TC were to ever leave.  That being said he had a tough time putting together a defensive plan to stop Navy's option attack i.e. he never beat them while he was the DC for the Falcons.  He respects TC's offensive mind and knows the rest of the coaching staff understands his brand of football. I think the Falcons have the ability to shock most of their fans, just like they did against NV and  make this a very close game if not an upset.

Looking forward to it,

Eh, he has a lot more to work with in Fresno on D and he has the benefit of an offense that's been nothing short of obscene at home.

Eh this isn't New Mexico's option your Dogs are facing. I don't known what AF team is going to show up, but if it's the one we saw play against MI and NV TD's new and improved D will be severely tested.

Welcome Dog fans!  What I want to know is if Coach DeRuyt has found a safety or other defensive player that he plans to unleash like he did when he coached at USAFA.  I would hate to see someone barreling through our O line and sack our QB the way a certain Falcon player used to a few years ago.  I miss the bashes we used to see from our defense, and hope that TD hasn't got that type of talent (though he very well may).

Best of luck to both teams!  We have a family event that cannot be changed on gameday, so it will have to suffice for me that I watch a recorded version when I get home that night.

Re: Fresno State Fan Here...

Look at the #1 safety in the country for INTs, with a ton of sack's.....

Oh and if you look down that list just a little youll see Fresnos Other S....

BTW-We are 11 in the country in sacks, but it comes at you from all over, we have a lot of guys blitzing so its not just one LB or S its a team effort.
