Great win...5 games left against the 4 probable MWC NCAA teams (CSU, UNLV, UNM, SDSU)...2 more wins, and were probaby in. Clune could be rock'in again! What a great way for Cadets to blow off some steam during the dark ages.

RE: Congratulations Falcons! 14-6 (5-2)
Concur with all of the above. Fortunately, I was able to view the game in HD on DirecTV channel 691. Falcons led most of the game and it was not a fluke at all.
Does anyone else note that Coach P substitutes out the starters more than buzzy did in the 2006-2007 season? I have no statistics to back this up, but anecdotally it appears to me the 4 seniors this year are not averaging as many minutes as the starters did on buzzy's team.
Coach P clearly follows the Greg Popovich school of coaching in not wearing out his starters. I content buzzy's poor management of players' minutes led to the multiple losses as the end of the 2007 regular season and MWC Tournament. Maybe this team will still have some gas in the tank when the MWC Tournament rolls around.

I looked at some stats last week and that jumped out at me too....Buzz's top 5 averaged 31.6 min a game...Phil's only 26.8.

IFF It was awesome! It hasn't been that way since 2007 and the win versus DePaul. 72 Eagle Driver

Well, then my observation is no longer anecdotal--it's a fact. BTW, I spell bzdelik, buzz and buzzy. or any other variation of his name, beginning with a lower case b.

Re: Congratulations Falcons! 14-6 (5-2)
Many, many huge kudos to Coach P and his staff for a superb job well done. And I salute the players who were simply fantastic. Especially each and everyone who came off the bench and contributed in their own way towards the win. And I'm not forgetting the players who didn't get into the game but enthusiastically provided their support to their teammates on the floor. The crowd, all I can say was equally fanatastic. Section 8 stood tall in the saddle with their rousing cheering. The Chamber was truly rocking. My wife listened to the game via radio. She said Jim did a great job announcing (as always) and added that he was just a "little" bit excited when the game concluded. After the game, I talked to many of the players and their families. Each were greatly appreciative of the tremendous support. Our "Band of Brothers" have got it for they now know they can compete with any team. Do I hear footsteps in our future?
