Pirates Blueprint

Interesting Read on Pirates.com: http://pittsburgh.pirates.mlb....eprint_flip.jsp

They are trying to sell 2010 tickets.  I'm not sure why I'd want those.  Can I buy some 2012 tickets?

RE: Pirates Blueprint

That prospect list looks about right. I would rate Grossman ahead of Marte though and Chase D'Arnaud definetly needs to be in the top 10

RE: Pirates Blueprint

I might switch Alderson and Lincoln as well as D'Arnaud and Morris, but other than that, that list looks pretty accurate. Four years ago, I'm not sure we could have compiled a list of top-30 prospects.

RE: Pirates Blueprint

I had the same thoughts that you did, moose.

I'll add that I have no idea why Bryan Morris is considered a better prospect than Daniel McCutchen.  McCutchen probably tops out as a righthanded version of Duke, but that's still a whole lot more than Morris has ever done in his career.  If Morris keeps it up with the same kind of punk behavior he exhibited last season, he won't even sniff the majors let alone do what McCutchen has done and will do.  No respect for Daniel, and I don't get it, I've never gotten it, and I never will get it.  But as long as he keeps it up and keeps giving us chances to win ballgames more often than not, I'll take it.
