Narrows League football playoff breakdown

LINK

Four spots are secured and there is only one. It will either go to Foss or Gig Harbor and I hope the Falcons can find a way to squeeze into the playoffs. South Kitsap, Olympia, Wilson, and Central Kitsap have postseason berths secured.

This week's schedule:

Bellarmine Prep at Lincoln
Mount Tahoma at South Kitsap
Central Kitsap at Wilson
Shelton at Gig Harbor
Foss at Olympia
Stadium at Auburn Mountainview (non-league)

Will do everything we can to help you with that Coug. Will have to see how it goes Wilson beat them and we played wilson pretty tough and they just lost to MT. If we can just put together a full game without wetting the bed will be alright hopefully the kids build on the second half we had vs. Wilson.

Thanks man. Foss can control their own destiny by winning and they won't need any help. We will have to wait and see what happens. tongue

South Kitsap could host Skyline in 4A playoffs...

Both teams will need to win their games next week but if they do, South Kitsap is projected to host Skyline in the first-round of the 4A state playoffs.

Interesting...tongue

I honestly thing the majority of the narrows teams will be one and done. None of the teams I saw this season were world beaters my guys killed them selves by bad tackling and poor execuation. This weeks game was the breaking point I don't think I will ever be able to watch film from that game the tackling was so bad. Can you really call it tackling if half your kids are just standing their watching?

On the bright side I met Coach Sark before the game(scouting Jenkins). Other than the frame, I'm still not overly impressed with the kid. Defensively he came in at end and was easily handled by our Junior Tackle Fontaine(Fontaines a good looking kid though 6-2 260 355lb bench). Offensively 2 catches 1TD because the safety didn't play over the top. Back to Sark, one of are coaches was wearing a WSU fleece and almost tagged Sark with a ball while he was throwing it to me in pre game. Sark saw the Coug symbol and didn't hesitate in a response(cool guy for a dawg!!!)

oh lord you're a husky haha...but what happen vs Gig Harbor yesterday? yes..Wilson might be one and done but strange things can happen during the playoffs.

I hope Wilson can at least win one game. That would be huge!

Wilson has some good skill kids That Davis Jr is a ball player I just don't think their line can match up with better teams. Shelton V. GH like many times this season they got behind and threw in the towell. First qaurter was a good game until we went down by 7 and the gave up. The kicker for me was 17 seconds before half we had Gig 3rd and 20 on their 15 and they ran an Iso right up the middle. We missed about 15 tackles on that one play alone and the kid went for a TD.
