That's quite a lineup.

Remember when we used to criticize Willie and Jerry for playing the B lineup? I want to criticize TC for this lineup, but honestly, who else should he play. This is pretty sad.

I dunno...with the way Davis, Tejada, and Ankiel have swung the bat, it's almost exciting to see Q, Spin, and Kirk.

I wonder if Duda will hit 30 hrs with fewer than 50 RBIs; has anyone else done that?

So far, so good.  Perhaps all the guys getting released and/or sent down woke these guys up.  Probably not but we can hope.

You replace 3 Mendoza-line guys with 3, say, .250 hitters and you have a reasonable improvement.

Sometimes a shake up is needed. Probably waited too long on Ike.
2-0. Q with a HR. Miss the days of having a shortstop that would at least hit 10+ HR's.

Murph boots it, don't like moving him off of a position he had become comfortable and competent at.

...and play Spin in left.  Almost makes too much sense for the Mets.

An error a botched DP and you're 4 runs down.... This is what the Mets used to do to oponents in 86, you have to be close to perfect against good teams, and that's simply something that is beyond these Mets possibilities...

Man, this season will seem eternal.

I think Hefner is showing why he should be the one to go to the pen when Wheeler comes up. I think in the long-man that he could be successful but not so much as a starter.

It's really terrible how things have morphed into this....Ths far into a rebuild. It seems to be regressing as each day goes by.
