This forum stays... for now

Load times are really long, from what we've seen no more post counts. It's got some new bells and whistles but whoever designed this has never been to a message board before. People like simplicity. This is all busy with adds and a bunch of white space everywhere. Adblock really comes in handy with this.
Also you log in with your email you set up your scout login with, your forum name no longer works as login, password will be the same though.

It's no joke, here is what's listed on our board from Melissa Lockard http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=304&f=2062& t=9368520 As some of you who frequent other Scout.com site may be aware, our network is getting a new facelift and some fancy new software soon. The launch date isn't set in stone, but sometime in the next few weeks, Scout.com will become FoxSportsNext.com. Along with that change will come a new front page design and a new platform for the messageboards. All of the features won't be available at launch as we are focusing on getting everything moved over from the old system to the new system in the initial phase, but in the coming months you will have a lot more fun features to play with both on the messageboards and on the front page of the site. The new site will be a lot more mobile friendly, as well, so those of you who have struggled to view the site on your phones and tablets should see a big improvement.
Our coverage of the A's and of the other teams might follow on the site will not be changing (in fact, it should improve over time as we will have better technology for uploading videos, creating more interactive chats, etc.).
I will update you as more details are firmed up and there will be warning before we make the switch. As a user, you won't have to do anything to prepare (current logins and passwords will move to the new system), but you'll get a heads up about the new look.

Yeah, at first i ran into the pay thing, but somehow i managed my way out of it. All the old posts as far as I know are getting carried over and everyone's login/pw will migrate as well (with the thing i mentioned before about using your email not login name).
I wish this was a big nightmare that I could wake up from, but its not a lie. I don't know why your mods haven't broken it to you guys yet. I regularly visit your board because like ours, yours has a good number of posters and some good info can be learned and read. If you truly don't believe me check some of the other scout boards around. You will see the stuff there as well.

There is nothing worse then when someone takes a site that is fine and screws it up for no apparent reason.
Does anyone have a good suggestion of a place for us to migrate to if it really sucks over there?

Hopefully there is some room for the Mods/Admins to make it look a little nicer with some type of formatting/borders/etc... Hopefully we can still have avatars, still keep our normal "status" names....
And if not...
Well, it's gonna be a little easier to break the addiction, I suppose.... or we will all have to try and find another forum that's a little more user friendly.
