Need a split on this series. Gee needs to step up because the O has been awful these 3 past games.
8 total hits.

Nice! We could really use an off game from Hudson here.

Murphy is inching his way back up to .300.

Alright, well, I'll take a 27 pitch, 2 run inning. Need to get to one of these starters.

Nice shot by Murph.

Wright continues to break my heart, he hit that ball as well as he's capable of and it didn't make it to the track.

I really wish we'd go ahead and dump either Abreu and Young and Bring MDD up from Vegas, where he's scalding the ball.  Give him 3 weeks in left field and see what happens.  Let Campbell backup against lefties.

The dreaded sig of doom has chosen future hall of famer Jason Heyward as its target.

May the baseball gods have mercy on your soul!

Murphy continues to hit. Love it.

2-0 buffer for Gee. Need a solid outing.

A win today would be nice. 8 of the next 14 games are against sub .500 teams and then 6 of those 14 are against the Nats. A chance to make up some serious ground, but with these Mets, I'm giving it about a 4% chance.

Well, that lead is gone. Feel bad for Gee, but he's been quite bad since the injury.

Gee-Niese-Colon have really gone sour since Wheeler and deGrom started dealing, figures.

Yeah. He just hasn't been the same.

He's just reverting back to his expected numbers, IMO. I realize that people say that he is a 'bulldog' and a competitor or whatever, but that doesn't mean much in the end, IMO.

I thought Gee was a fighter...but he's been disappointing lately. Hopefully he has enough to help them win today. Losing 3 of 4 here sets them back.

How long can you leave this guy in the lineup let alone the 3 spot? He's got a .450 OPS since the ASB! He has no business hitting third right now its absolutely bizarre!

He was like a rabid bulldog before the injury though.

Gee will be okay IMO. He pitched great over an entire year. I'm far more concerned about Niese and his almost Jamie Moyer-like fastball.

I failed to take Murphy off the bench for the fantasy team my son and I own.

That's the risk with these early starts. Grrr
