Need this one. 7 of the next 10 with Atlanta. We are coming to the fork in the road.

I hope that Fork stays in the road and isn't placed somewhere else on this team.  eek

They're teeing off on BFB.  I guess he was do for a stoinker. Hopefully he can settle into this game.

I wonder if they're tealing signs? Colon is to seasoned to be tipping.

Why would they steal signs? Colon throws the same pitch like 90% of the time. Maybe they're peeking for location. Or maybe he's just not locating.

This team has to lead the league in deep flyballs that don't go out.

This team is just allergic to driving in runs.

Pedro Alvarez is destroying the MEts. I wonder if he's doing this because Google Boy refused to draft Tyler Beede.

I was curious about this and looked up the team statistics, and the Mets are actually just below the NL average in RBIs (NL average is 311, Mets are at 308, 8th place out of 15). Factor in their home park and they would be above average for the NL eek

Run scoring is just incredibly down these days.

In terms of runs per game, the Mets are at 3.93 while the NL average is 4.01, which places the Mets 10th without any park adjustments.

Colon's trade value is taking a bit of a tumble.

All the numbers say we're playing about as good as a .500 team would play. Hopefully, that will come to fruition. I think the most frustrating part about our team is not the ability to drive runs in, but the lack of timely hitting, as evidenced by our record to date.

Before today's game the Mets' run differential was 318 runs scored, 316 allowed which came out to an expected 41-40 record.
