I can get behind this lineup. Not sure what's going on with the Flores/Tejada situation. I'd rather see Flores in the lineup, but at this point I pretty much give up on that.

Ditto on Flores.  The situation is sketchy at best.  I'd like to know the real explanation.

It seems like they're about 50/50 on the playing time right now. Better than Wilmer riding the pine every day, but this is what I was talking about when I said, "Don't be surprised to see Flores get called up and not be the starting shortstop." So predictable.

.

That grand slam by Wilmer the other night was one of the biggest hits of the year.  Probably a big confidence boost.  As long as Tejada's OPS is hanging out around .630, he's not as much of a liability, but still..

Agreed Tejada has played his way back into the equation, but how bout moving him (Wilmer) around the infield a bit? For an organization so thin on offense he's gotta be getting more AB's then he is. Still amazing to me that Wright has not had a day off yet.

That's why I don't like Starlin Castro at all. So lackadaisical in the field.

I'd like to officially retract my Niese for Castro trade proposal.

Question: Which two baseball teams are an Italian's favorite?

Answer:  The A's and O's

There was talk of Wright getting a day off during this 20 games in 20 days stretch. I also can't believe Murphy didn't get a day off after that terrible game he had in Philly. Let Wilmer play a little at every infield position. Get him some at bats.

Murphy is sitting tomorrow against the Lefty and Flores will play 2nd.  Campbell will play first for Duda as well.   Wright will sit sometime in the San Fran series, and Campbell will play 3rd that day.

The Mets are back to being the Mets. This again, has all the makings of a painful game.

Regardless of the results, I do not enjoy watching Matsuzaka pitching. The Asian version of Steve Trachsel.
