Ike again in the 4 hole?
Hopefully this is coming to an end soon. Hello Vegas!

Niese needs to step up big time.

Key for Niese is he HAS to get off to a good start. First 3 innings no runs. If he falters early, this game will go south real fast.

That Dos Equis/Long Island jewelers commercial in-between every inning is almost as bad as watching The Mets.

Speaking of commercials, where does John Franco get-off not correcting Mercedes-Benz of Brooklyn announcing him as "Major League Hall of Famer, John Franco" on the radio?

Unreal that Yadier Molina has become a .340 hitter in the big league. This guy couldn't hit a lick his first 7 pro years.

I had said if Niese can hold them off early, the Mets have a chance..

down 1-0 on a 2 out double.

Ike with another K in the 4 hole.
I've never been more down on this organization and the direction

1-0 Cards, on a Kozma RBI Double - which scored Molina from 2nd.

When you are going this bad and Wainwright is on the mound, I think you need to pitch around Kozma, if not even walk him. It's sad, but true.

What's this thing called when we have more runs than the other team? Whoa-whoa, slow down.

Jon Niese's regression from consistently good to bum is a complete mystery.

Let's hope Murphy getting hot will have a positive effect on Wright, getting some RBI chances.

2-1 Mets, stringing 3 hits together in succession....AMAZIN'!

Under normal circumstances yes, but these guys have shown a propensity to walk more, throw wild pitches and somehow beat themselves. Issuing free bases has been a year long problem that has manifested into some big innings.
