metsblog has the lineup for today's exhibition game and it appears that the Mets are intending to start the starting lineup (except Turner is in for Murphy).  What makes me sick is that Byrd is starting in RF.  Why the love for Byrd?  I will be so pissed if he wins the RF job.   Everyone else is as expected.

Loved the 0-1 pitch to that last batter.  Gun read 97 - 88 - 94.  Not sure if by design, but playing with the speed like that is just filthy.

Wheeler walks Lombardozi and then throws a wild pitch, but then promptly retires Harper and the middle of the Nats order, striking out the last two, one on a 96 mph heater.

Can't believe they rolled out Gary Keith AND Ron for the very first game, heh.

He's 22. If he was the complete package at 22 years old already, he'd have been in the Majors a year or two ago.
