Mets trade away reigning CY Young award winner. Still have the best pitcher in Baseball.

I like it. If fully recovered he could be solid.

I suspect he's shot, but there's no real downside to this, so it's worth a shot. Welcome back Perpetual Pedro.

Re: Mets sign Pedro Feliciano to MiL deal
Good low risk move. Pitched a little over nine innings in the minors to finish out 2012, and looks like he got into a few games in Puerto Rico this year. Don't know how much he can handle, but he's been throwing.
And maybe having him around will serve as a warning not to abuse Edgin.

Evidently, he has more than Wilson.
i read that Wilson through about 20 pitches for S.A. Really, why did he even bother?

Dude has cojones.
Always loved his demeanor.
on edit: If he makes the ball club, I might have found my new favorite Met to replace Dickey (and Dickey replaced Jose)... so might be a death sentence for him as a Met.... haha

not much to see here... a name that might excite some fans that do not realize he has nothing left in his arm.

Worth a long look in spring training to see if they could move Carson for an outfielder with another prospect or two

Well, he hasn't pitched in 3 years so maybe he's recovered from all those innings the Mets made him throw. It would be VERY enjoyable if the Yankees paid him all that money not to pitch and he now pitched well for the Mets.

I'd rather have Rob Carson.

At an absolute minimum, I appreciate this for the "Bleep you, Yankees" aspect of it. If he can actually pitch effectively in the majors, I may fall over laughing.

I had sensed a disturbance in The Force the past two years. The feeling is now gone. Things have returned to as they should be. Later

Just a minimum. Not sure how his arm is put together but worth the risk. He was a pinch over being a great LOOGY in his hay.

I guarantee he could strike out Ryan Howard right now, no warm up needed.

Re: Mets sign Pedro Feliciano to MiL deal
Byrdak and Feliciano combine for 200 appearances.....and about 60 IP.
Hey....why not? This provides some middle inning bullpe depth.
