Bill Lundbergh - Wick Sun Post

Bill Lundbergh - Wick Sun Post

I am calling this clown out. This man is coward and a punk who can't get over the fact Wickenburg is NOTHING special. This is man that wants to tear down an "underdog" community... Parker. Because Wick can barely muster a victory in any sport against long time rival Parker, he publically labels it a filthy, disgusting place. Parker is full of great people and great kids, who earn every ounce of success they see against terrible socioeconomic odds. Bill, take your medicine, Wick isn't great anymore, hell it isn't even average. Take baby steps by beating Tonopah, then work your way to Parker...

I took it down. Very few people EVEN NOTICE the Sun forums and the fact you were cruising them is interesting. I used to cruise online chat rooms sometimes, but recently I showed up with wine coolers and Chris Hansen was there.

Re: Estrella and Wick post-mortum

Maybe if  Wickenburg hired the coaches from Parker the program would turn around...

RE: QB rankings

I am sure my post will not be taken seriously, but there is a very good QB out in Parker that deserves some recognition. Louis Golding - great athlete, is ready to blow up after being sidelined for half of last season...

Wickenburg

Wick seems to be getting alot of pub... They lost about 90% of there offensive production from last year... They have poor secondary play... I don't understand it... I guess that Wickenburg name takes you places...

The last one is what LawrenceHorse said on the day before the Wickenburg game in 2011...

So you get on a message board and trash talk the secondary and trash talk the opponent the day before you play them? www.parkerpioneer.net/articles...ed810640004.txt

Class dude. Class. Please come on here and call me a coward and a punk again...

RE: Bill Lundbergh - Wick Sun Post

Thank HEAVEN--for a couple hours until Metro takes this post down, for the next couple days until Wick hires a new coach, WICKENBURG AND PARKER ARE RELEVANT and worth mentioning on a football forum. Some cheesy Parker coach, dad, or fan is cruising the Wickenburg Sun board to see who Wick is gonna hire, sees me joking about his town, and suddenly it is time for a flame war.

I get it dude. You are just like me. Bored. Middle of the night. Cinemax is too expensive so there you are on the interwebz. Cruising sites and hit the refresh button on your rival's hometown website. And you see something interesting. You have no real friends to talk to at 10PM, so you start a flame war. But you are not "just like me." I live in a nice house in Phoenix. You have to get up tomorrow morning and you still LIVE IN PARKER.

Maybe it's the "I've lived in Buckeye so long I might as well be a native" inside of me talking, but living in Parker would be sweet.  Close proximity to the River and Havasu, the one time I ate at El Sarape I was satisfied (granted I'd been on the River all day so it's hard not to please at that stage), Crossroads Cafe is good eatin' too, I can't complain.  Granted one of the river-front pseudo mansions would likely be more to my liking, but Parker's a good little town.

18 posts (as of the above post), and that makes you an authority on whether or not Wrangler is a "clown", a "coward", a "punk", or even a "man"?

Now, if Tremaine was making those observations, I might CONSIDER thinking about maybe possibly looking into allegations of being serious.

But you, Lawrence(High)Horse? Take your own advice - take some baby steps by calling out a couple of teens and then work your way up to a college freshman.

You just want to be in Havasu during Spring Break, we already knew that. :)

RE: Bill Lundbergh - Wick Sun Post

I am betting Lawrence's kid is the former QB that he mentioned. Lawrence seemed awful interested in the Wick Secondary. Or perhaps he is an offensive coach or works with QB's.

There is a coach named Joe Golding on staff at Parker who would seem to fit both of those categories. No one pays attention and knows about a team's strengths and weaknesses before a game other than a coach. And usually 99% of the folks on here from these individual communities tend to mention their own kid at some time or another.

Golding works in the Public Health Department and has a college degree which means he is probably articulate. Lawrence can string words together without grammatical errors so I figure he must be educated somewhere other than Parker. He wrote about "socioeconomic status" so I assume he works with some governmental agency because most of the people in low socioeconomic status do not know poverty is referred to as "socioeconomic status." So he makes good money, is educated, probably works in some sort of governmental agency, lives on the Rez plus likes to talk about probably the only rich kid in town, knows statistical information about his opponents, and specifically pointed out their secondary play being poor before the game two years ago.

www.parkerusd.k12.az.us/phs/at...les/Page611.htm

"Joe Golding graduated from Parker High School in 1991. He lives in Parker with his wife, Jean, and three sons, Sean, Louis, and Josh Lyle. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (graduating with magna cum laude honor) from Northern Arizona University in May 1996, and went on to further his education at NAU earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy (graduating with Distinction honors) in August 2001. Joe, also, earned an Orthopaedic Certified Specialty in Physical Therapy in May 2006. He holds the military rank of Lieutenant Commander in the US Public Health Service (recently promoted to Commander, which goes into effect 10/1/11) and is stationed at the Parker Indian Health Center, where he serves as the Chief of the Physical Therapy Department. He also holds the position of Logistics Section Chief of the U.S. Public Health Service’s Rapid Deployment Force-5. Volunteer activities include: coaching Parker Little League 2004—2011; Assistant Coach of Parker High School Football and Boy’s Basketball Fall 2008—Present; and assisted Parker High School Baseball in the Spring 2009--Present."

If it ain't this guy, I am WAY WAY off base...

Re: Bill Lundbergh - Wick Sun Post

You guys are crazy in your rivalry! In 2011 Parker was at their best, but they mostly depended on the Golding/Gonzales passing game and Golding's scrambling ability on busted up plays with occasional help from Jose Miller. In 2011 they routed us, Div. II Kingman 27-7. They had more players, more seniors, more Juniors and the same number of sophomores that we did. The Kingman/Parker game of 2012 was a totally different story though Golding, Gonzales and Miller were still there. Wickenburg will rise again as will Parker. They have storied pasts and I really liked going down there last season. Now that KHS will be in Div III, maybe we can play both Parker and Wickenburg.

RE: Bill Lundbergh - Wick Sun Post

For the record, I believe Wickenburg played Parker your senior year during Wick's last 1-9 season under Jon Hill in his first year and you beat them down 35-0 on the road. I was a Soph and remember all the varsity players were rather upset about that loss... Speaking Tremaine, he played in that game. Parker stayed in 3A the next 2 year block and Wick dropped to 2A. That is when the rivalry really dropped for about 8 years because the two schools stopped playing every season.

So Lawrence, don't hide who you are. If you want some tradition and some rivalry and want to brag about your players and bag on the Wick secondary the week of the game in 2011, come on here and do it. But see, I think you are one of those assistants that posts on a site that he probably shouldn't and wouldn't if people knew he was an assistant coach for the football, basketball, and baseball teams. Especially when you are pumping your own kid up or talking trash about Wickenburg.

RE: Bill Lundbergh - Wick Sun Post

Ha, yeah I played in that game. After the half mile jog from our locker room to the football field, I saw the worst Wick display ever.  Down something line 35-0 at halftime, we had an inspirational halftime speech that had us sprinting out of the locker room..we all almost passed out sprinting all the way back to the field. Then our sam kicked a kid in his helmet after a play..he got tossed. Then our nose guard/center got into a fight in the middle of a defensive huddle WITH our Mike backer! I recall looking back at the Parker offense wondering if they should get down and snap the ball or watch us fight each other.  Quietest ride back to Wickenburg for 2 and a half hours. Only time I ever lost to Parker, but it is one of those that I remember most. We have owned Parker ever since, so there is no reason to act like this is a rivalry. Back to you Lundbergh...
