Scurran finally got caught!

Wow this is amazing. This appeal based on documents being incorrect can go either way based on who filed them with the incorrect information.

Remember it may not have anything to do with Scurrans fault. Seriously. If you look at the bylaws it actually has a section for what happens if parents falsify resident documents.

16.1.1.4.2 In the event a student, parent or legal guardian files a false document with school authorities, which results in the playing of an ineligible participant, the

member school may appeal the forfeiture of the contest(s) in which the ineligible player participated. After hearing the appeal, the AIA Executive Board

may, at its discretion:

16.1.1.4.2.1 Waive imposing a penalty against the member school.

16.1.1.4.2.2 Declare the student involved ineligible in all sports for a

maximum of 365 days from the date of the discovery of the

false information.

16.1.1.4.2.3 After the period of ineligibility for filing a false document is satisfied, the student shall regain eligibility if all other eligibility requirements have been met.

The problem here is if he was a contributing factor in games that hurts as well. But like I said remember this paperwork has to go though a process at school.

No offense to any coaches or programs but there is an irony to having this happen on the same friday with probably the 2 coaches people hate to love about these issues. Only the football gods could align this all at the same time and then include Wickenburg for good sport.

Funny....I brought this up a few weeks ago (using the Qb for the Sabino game without him going to class and the use of a "transfer" from Mt. View by Scurran) and my topic was deleted after catching some grief from a few of you who asked for "proof"....like a I said if it looks like a duck.......

No shock here either, Scurran has had this coming for years.

goofey the info about the principal and stuff will more than likely come out as true based on info I recieved but like I said this doesn't mean Scurran did this. Lets hold off a bit. Remember he cannot change this stuff. Supposedly. But we will know on Friday as we will be there to report it. I almost forget you posted it The aia is going after the big names and programs. Salpointe, rattay and now Scurren program. Add in Wickenburg and the AIA is making a statement.

all of my mentor coaches were the old single wing coaches who are either passed away or in their late 70s-80s. I was around these guys since I was in elementary school teaching me the single wing and all they used was the 'football gods' term! So it is part of my terminology ever since from these great coaches. 

One of them was "Coach Bear Wetzel" who is in the  Marshall HOF in 1986 as a player. I was lucky enough to speak with him before he passed this last year and he always told me to respect the "football gods'!
