NU/CU is back for a limited engagement

NU/CU is back for a limited engagement

2018-2019 and 2023-2024.  OU is sandwiched in between those two series.  It's like a dysfunctional family reunion.

Good. It will be fun to play CU in September and get their season started off in the right direction.

YEP, a September game in Boulder is MUCH BETTER for Husker fans!!!

Studies have proven that injuries caused by flying plastic water bottles are typically less serious than ones caused by frozen snow balls.

I will not be attending, I will not spend a dime in Boulder and I do not want my car damaged.
They treat Nebr fans so bad.

Neither will the CU student body.  They'll all be stoned out of their minds and unable to muster the initiative to make it to the game.

ohlord

Not a fan of this. I know of 2 females, who were in their early 20's at the time, who traveled to Boulder for a game once (Callahan era) and they were harassed so severely that neither one of them would ever consider going there again. And neither of them would reveal to me the exact nature of their harassment. Big Red doesn't need to be pumping money into CU's coffers.

Thank you, Coach Osborne. For everything.

Is this something that TO had been working on or do we have the new AD to thank for this. Horrible. Couldn't we have sheduled a different team from the state of Colotado? The only way I want to play Colorado is if we play both games at home or at very least play at mile high. I DO NOT want to play in Boulder ever again.

Thrillsville.

I really don't have any desire to play teams we've played for sixty years. That ship has sailed.

I hate CU, but it will be nice to stomp their butts again.

Would have rather seen a KSU or KU matchup, but I understand the matchup. The game in Boulder is more about the people in Western Nebraska attending a short road trip game, then it is about playing Colorado. I look at just like when we scheduled Wyominig, but with much crappier fans & team.

The close road trip for the boosters in the western end of the state is definitely part of it.  It's also low cost travel for the team and adds to our exposure in Colorado and the PACWhatever in general.

We have a history of pulling the better recruits out of the state when they pop up and I don't think we want to lose that.
