Can anyone explain why Ohio State and Michigan are both recruiting Nebraska's border states just as well if not better than Nebraska?

Nobody, I mean NOBODY! recruits Cardinal Mooney High better than Nebraska. Get off Bo's ass. He's a hard worker.

In this class, Ohio State signed one player from a Nebraska border state - St. Louis Missouri RB Ezekiel Elliot.  Nebraska offered Elliot.  Nebraska's RB haul is a strength, it doesn't really matter who they missed out on when they signed Taylor and Newby.

Michigan signed one player from a Nebraska border state - Colorado OG Chris Fox. Nebraska didn't offer.

Urban has it all. Copious top flight, in-state talent; top-flight school; momentun from a 12-0 season; not to mention he loves recruiting and has an unmatched work ethic. I'm assuming this is why he mentioned that the B1G needs to recruit better.  And if not, buckle up.
