They have to feel pretty dumb right now, never bet against Bo Ryab, could be tied for 1st place in the Big Ten after Sunday. And what a win after Jackson had some horrible turnovers, thought Marshall should have played more
Bo Ryan's offense is officially dead and has been figured out by the B1G. The only way he can continue to coach it is if he significantly upgrades the players.-George2k5

Keep Questioning Bo
There aren't five coaches in the nation I would take over Bo. Period. How this team is 8-3 in the B1G right now is nothing short of coaching genius.

Agreed. But not sure why we didn't foul both at the end of reg. and OT.

I like Bo, but why was Evans in there with seconds left knowing Michigan was going to foul?

Inexcusable for someone who gets touted as a Gd around here.

That's fine and I agree, but can we not celebrate without pointing out all the negatives. This guy can't even feel good about a win. It's sad.

Re: Keep Questioning Bo
Evans was in because of his defense. More important to keep them from scoring than to chance that they'd foul Evans after a miss, which, as it turned out, wasn't critical.

Re: Keep Questioning Bo
Bo is an AMAZING coach 99.9% of the time but the 0.1% of the time he is not he looks pretty foolish. Not knowing the situation and allowing Evans in the game and not having his team foul were very bad mistakes. Not fouling should have cost us the game.
In my opinion, the players won this game hitting big big big shots and playing really tough defense down the stretch.

No, they just fouled Evans who in turned missed the FT which gave them a chance to tie the game. It was critical and it was a mistake. They got away with it.

RE: Keep Questioning Bo
I'll suggest that sort of statistic keeping is the responsibility of assistants.
Enumerated powers are necessarily limited because, as Chief Justice John Marshall said, “the enumeration presupposes something not enumerated.”
"The world's climatologists are agreed" that we must "prepare for the next ice age" (Science Digest, February 1973.

Bo has never instructed his players to foul in that situation. Plus, they were up 3. There is no way not fouling them would have cost them at that point.

Re: Keep Questioning Bo
I will question him for my first time ever. To not foul at the end of the game was inexcusable, and having Evans in at the end was just plain stupid--could have cost us the win.

It was a mistake to have him in there, but we compound that by inbounding the ball to him. It's all good we won and now we get the Goofs. Go Bucks and Boilers, 5 way tie would be sweet.

Uhh, not fouling directly led to a 3 pointer in regulation that took an impossibly amazing half court shot to push it to overtime. Not fouling in OT was still a mistake but didn't cost us because the 3 was missed.
