Who get's the next OL offer??

Who get's the next OL offer??

With Pocic picking LSU, who's next?

I'm wondering why we haven't offered Aaron Cochran?

Seems like the next group would be Cochran, Poet Thomas, & David Knevel.
A strange situation,
A wild occupation,
Living my life,

Don't want to appear smarmy...but next offer, will be whomever is next on the staff's board...I know I sound like a "broken record"...but OL is the least of my recruiting concerns!

Fever...you're really missing the point...he was never ours "to lose"...committed elsewhere, move on!

My guess would be Brad Henson ... Link

I'll even go as far to say UW staff will extend 'an offer' him before Pocic decides biggrin

Yes it does seem like Henson a 6-5 270 OG from NJ, is the next man offered.
Did we ever offer Conner Rease?   Or waiting for camp..

Offers flying out the door now, kinda like when we didn't get our first pick at QB, or RB, or.....

Yes, I know he was neverr "ours"

Still, any kid who thinks logically can see a glaring hole at LT in 2 years. Redshirt his frosh year and step in(if hes a special talent)

Polcic is.  I sure hope he knows how kids who dont start are treated in the SEC(ever heard of oversigning?)

I am friends with LSU folks but I think this is an enormous mistake on his part, JMO

Hey Fever, after going on about how Polcic is the closest thing to JT you've seen, you're then questioning whether he'll even start at LSU?

So at the moment, it looks like Henson or Quessenberry for the OG spot.

Take a look at the kid's offer list.  This is not a case of an offer flying out the door.  They've been on him for a while.  I wonder why it took so long to offer?  He's probably a better prospect than Queesenberry is.

I think their talent level is pretty comparable.  Quessenberry looks a little lighter on his feet - his overall style might make him more inclined to choose Oregon.  I'd be very happy with Henson.  I hope we're not late to the party though.

There are more pulling guards/tackles that need light feet @ Wisconsin than Oregon.  Oregon running backs burst through the hole or edge with quickness and are home run threats.  Rarely do you see a lead blocker (guard or tackle) running in front of them  15 yards down field like you do at Wisconsin.

You have no idea what you're talking about.  Oregon uses a zone blocking scheme which generally favors somewhat smaller and more agile linemen.  I don't care how far downfield somebody gets.

Re: Who get's the next OL offer??

no, I siad he had some JT like abilities yet it will need to be developed in a system that can maximize this sans coaching bias, clear?

If LSu finds a like player from a school that has kids who pick bama at times over lSU, do you really think Pocic will get the same shot the local favorite will? Bama/lsu recruting is a 24/7 war, trust me.

sick talent in Louisiana.  Keep an eye on this one( I love going to LSU games but lets see how this "yankee" pans out in the SEC if a similar talent from say baton rouge/Metarie/West jeffferson parish is on the bench)

All kids are illogical, or not really that good, or we really didn't want them, or not very smart when they don't pick Wisconsin, huh?
